Statistics don’t win games. But his are above excellent never had the supporting cast totally on the same page. That’s the mess we have now. If it wasn’t for him, we’d be where we are now for at least four seasons.

3-5 was overachieving? Is he way better than the QBs we have on the bench. Yes. Not even close. But he also has been part of the problem with us getting farther in other years. A majority of his years he has had a top RB, line and WRs

Dak seems like a good Dude and for where we drafted him....excellent. But my one issue that I can't get over is he has the stink of Garrett all over him and he acts like him, talks like him and honestly fails like him. We are paying him way too much for what we get.

all maybe true. But he still over achieved with this squad that Jerry put together. Didn’t pay him for what you’re getting. They paid him for what you got. A leader, a winner. It wasn’t him that failed in the playoffs. Never would’ve got there without him. But most fans think oh at least you will get higher draft picks. I’ll take a team that can beat anybody on any given day rather than quit.

Dak has been a good QB throughout his career, but that's it. Just good-pretty good. Like I said in another thread, the vast majority of starting QBs are a product of their supporting cast, and that is the case with Dak. If he's got a bad team around him, he's not going to play well. This is true for all but the most elite QBs.

The last few weeks have been an eye opener for the extreme Dak haters and the handful of Rush stans left who thought that Dak was the major problem with this offense. Now its pretty plain to see that that while Dak wasn't helping things, the problem is the rest of the roster is so pitifully awful.

Last few seasons, he was good, not great, and he fell at pretty much every playoff hurdle. He is what he is at this point, aging and regressing... and expen$ive!

LOL-the offensive line that was built for Romo built the legend of Dak. They slowly deteriorated and two starters left with Martin backsliding and Terrence put to pasture. That’s the engine for all the success on offense these past 9 years and this is what you get when the line is poor like the early 2010’s. Dak’s just a guy-solid QB with great surrounding talent that can put up lots of points and stats against the worst and mediocre defenses. Baker Mayfield, Kirk Cousins, Geno Smith, Alex Smith type dude. And now his age and health are becoming a big issue with his level of play. Delude yourself as necessary.

Dak benefitted from a good roster, and one can't deny his achievements. Let's get real though. Dak scares exactly nobody. No team has to game plan around Dak. He really has nothing at this point. His accuracy is awful. He can no longer run like he could when younger. His pocket presence is terrible. His anticipation and timing are horrific. He does have a good agent though, I'll give him that.

Dak has been above average the majority of his career. Honestly he only sits in the top 10 because of the state of quarterbacks the last 2-3 years bar his rookie year.

He should have never been resigned. One of the dumbest decisions in the Jerry Jones era let alone in recent quarterback history. We have learned he is "not" that guy. Atrocious in the post season besides the Bucs game when they basically had camp bodies playing on defense by the end of the year and the OL was pretty wrecked as well.

Dak is the product of the talent around him just like the majority of QBs. His talent does not stand out like other quarterbacks on bad teams that you know given a chance they could flourish.

No one is saying that Dak isn't capable of putting together a damn good game, he most certainly can. But just as often he comes out cold, contributes to us being behind and pads his stats when the game is already gone.

Thats an average QB in this league.. not an elite one.
