Definetely overachieved, more than solid guy for a 4th rounder, took over the prime position in sports and had some good seasons/numbers.

He gave the franchise some hope after Romo but came up short in the end, he lacks the clutch gene, panics under the bright lights and makes mistakes.

That does not absolves the FO, they should have helped him win with more talent around him and better coaching, treat him like a Dilfer not like a Rodgers.

Should have let him leave, his athleticism took a big slide after the ankle injury and with age, he is on the decline now.

Got greedy but who can blame him? Signing him was a huge mistake. I don't hate him, I just want someone better as the QB of the Cowboys.

OH MY GOD, what are you smoking??????????? Prescott is Mr 3 and out! The dude has made his living beating bottom feeders in the league! He wouldn't know win against an average team even if that team threw their helmets on the field and went out for lunch or dinner, depending on the start time of the game. Prescott is so overpaid, over hyped and is a less than mediocre bum of a QB. His stats are so overrated because they've come against bums and prevent defenses! Also, don't forget how lousy the bum has played this year, with passes behind or over his target's heads. Hell, he probably had a big hand in CeeDee getting hurt because every pass that CeeDee has caught has been considered a circus catch. CeeDee has had to break stride on 99.9 % of the passes he's caught from Prescott which has allowed defenders to body slam the guy on almost every tackle made against him. Give Prescott some CREDIT, did you say CREDIT, the only CREDIT he should be getting is credit from opponents who are giving him credit for throwing picks multiple times a game because his lousy skills are regress at an alarming pace.

Dak is both a rich benefactor and a victim of a very poorly managed team. I can't help but wonder what he might have done in another setting. I'll be hoping he manages to end his career with a better team to be left behind him. I think it's to his credit that he's done as well as he has, despite the limited management that has guided him. He's never been the best QB around but is far from the worst. Here's hoping his recovery is complete.

I personally don't recall a schedule as brutal as this one. Most of these teams are really good this season. I think a healthy Cowboys would have had a rough time. My initial thought was they would win 8 games this season before the season started. Even that seems out of the question even if we were healthy...simply because it became apparent how gutted the team became this past off-season really quickly as we got into the season. There was way too much wishful thinking about young players stepping up by Jerry. Wishful thinking doesn't win football games. It sets you up for disappointment.
