Say what you like about Dak, but he was horrible this year. Flat out horrible.

Last few seasons, he was good, not great, and he fell at pretty much every playoff hurdle. He is what he is at this point, aging and regressing... and expen$ive!
that's because he got the bag, if he were working to get the bag, he would be still playing and would have 10,329 passing yards thus far in the season!

Whirlwin, it is you that is an overachiever.
You go over the top defending this bum clown.
I’m not defending him. I’m telling you how I feel. You don’t agree I don’t have an issue with that.

I agree with your posts and admire that you like many of mine, lol.

That being said, in previous years Dak was gifted a tremendous supporting cast, and he ran with it given those chess pieces. Come playoff time and in big games it takes more than that to become crowned as a winner and Dak (along with his coaches/teammates) have failed miserably in that regard. Given the state of this franchise, the true barometer of what kind of QB Dak is has come full force. Given the tools he is a good carpenter, the problem is he never will be a Master Craftsman which is what this franchise has needed for 8 years. And now, this franchise is stuck with a broken down play caller which should never have happened

I see it as performing to expectations. He was never projected to be a franchise QB, and the problem from Day 1 has been that is the expectation. Dak has always and will always require top-tier talent to succeed. A couple of playoff wins would be overachieving, and given the chess pieces he has....no Grand Master is in his future

It was him that kept this team together for the last few seasons
If it wasn’t for him, it would be like it is now just for a longer period of time
Maybe people finally give him the credit he deserves
. Top 10 quarterback since he’s been in the league.
Yeah, go ahead. I don’t care. I know it really happens out there on the field.
Jerry disagrees

Yeah with a roster that is 3x better than the one he has now.

PLEASE stop it with the RUSH WAS 5-1!!!!!!!! crap, like that even matters. that was several years ago and the team around him is vastly different.
So by the exact same token, those 12-5 teams under Dak were also vastly different teams substantially better than the current group

Both Dak and Rush led those teams to wins.

Both Dak and Rush are insufficient to win with the current roster

Bottom line if Dak was all that like many claim, he would do better than 92 yards and a pick 6 in the 1st half against GB. That's Dak under the bright lights. Always has been always will be.

Rush's struggles don't change that reality, no matter how much the Church of Dak says otherwise
