Uh they were terrible with him.
3, 12 wins seasons in a row is only terrible to spoiled, entitled fans. Didn't succeed in the playoffs, but to say they were terrible is comical....you must be living in a cave, somewhere in the east coast.....oh, wait..,,,,lol

Cooper Rush did pretty well in his absence prior to this season. Dak led the league in interceptions two years ago despite missing what, 5 games? Cooper Rush went 4-1 with that team. He was pacing another 20 interception season this year. Looking back on the year when Dez was let go, he and the offense was dreadful until the team traded a 1st for Amari Cooper.

Dak has done well every other season since he's been in the league, but I can't help but question if he was a product of the talent around him, rather than being the overachiever that you claim he is. This offseason we lost our starting RB, didn't replace him, our starting LT, replaced him with a project rookie, our starting center, replaced him with a rookie who never played the position, and Cooks went down early.

This is the worst offensive supporting cast Dak has had since he entered the league, and it's no surprise that the offense fell flat on their faces. It's also no surprise that $90m/y was spent on two offensive players this offseason, and Dak had a ton of cash carried forward from his previous deal, which means there's less money to go around. We have $20ish million available which will be carried forward to offset the $90m cap hit next season from Dak's shiny new contract, and most likely will be put towards resigning Micah.

Did Dak overachieve? Maybe. Is he worth the contract he signed this ofseason? Based on the offensive output this season, my opinion says absolutely not....but you're certainly entitled to see otherwise.

Although you probably already knew this, and were just lying through your teeth to keep up the agenda like most of the posters on this board these days seem to. I hate it here.
Then logoff, and go somewhere else! Damn kid...is that to hard to do?

It was him that kept this team together for the last few seasons
If it wasn’t for him, it would be like it is now just for a longer period of time
Maybe people finally give him the credit he deserves
. Top 10 quarterback since he’s been in the league.
Yeah, go ahead. I don’t care. I know it really happens out there on the field.
The truth hurts but someone needed to say it.

For his talent level, I would agree he has overachieved.

Being given starter status & no pressure that he might be replaced has allowed him to get all the practice & make the most of his talents. In the end, he's slightly better than a career backup and should have himself been relegated to backup status years ago.

Well it is fair to note that the two bad years in the last five occurred when he got injured although it is also fair to say that we were under .500 both years when he got hurt.

That written, the last two games should dispel the argument that we can just slot Rush in and win 12 in a season

He’s All Pro. Slightly better than a backup is insane.

He definitely moved the team better at times by completing a ridiculous number of tight window throws early on, but I knew that would eventually bite us n the butt because no one could keep that up, and eventually Dak started forcing passes, trying to extend drives. That leads to turnovers. Bad decisions by Dak, and there’s no denial, but I almost give him a slight pass just because this offense was never going to score enough points to win games. No run game. No receivers worth a damn at #2#3. wasting our only speed on offense in Turpin. A poor OL. It just wasn’t going to happen no matter how Dak played.

If anyone thinks we would be in contention if Dak played better is simply in denial about how bad both our offense and defense is.

So by the exact same token, those 12-5 teams under Dak were also vastly different teams substantially better than the current group

Both Dak and Rush led those teams to wins.

Both Dak and Rush are insufficient to win with the current roster

Bottom line if Dak was all that like many claim, he would do better than 92 yards and a pick 6 in the 1st half against GB. That's Dak under the bright lights. Always has been always will be.

Rush's struggles don't change that reality, no matter how much the Church of Dak says otherwise
you were doing well. until the church of dak B$. Like why go through the effort of making a logical, rational, quality post that might actually convince someone of something and then throw in potshots.
