Prescott plans to continue being a mobile QB

Dak is not a mobile QB. He's not. Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, Mahomes, Hurts and Jayden Daniels ARE mobile QBs. Guys who are as difficult to defend running as they are passing the ball. Dak isn't a dual threat. Maybe 8 years ago he was but he's delusional to think he is now.

So I am supposed to assume Hurts elevated Barkley. Give me a break.

Way too much credit is given to and way too much is blamed on the QB for the teams success.

It is totally refreshing to see someone like yourself, actually understands how football works!!!

I totally agree with you. I was just playing the "everything is on the quarterback" game with the folks around here. For some reason, the narrative around here is that we didn't succeed for many years deep into the playoffs because of Romo and Dak, SOLELY.

Our quarterbacks deserve part of the blame, no question, but not ALL of the blame.

They're held to a different set of rules than all other quarterbacks. But I won't allow the goalpost moving to happen around here without a fight.

If there is a standard set for one quarterback, then all other quarterbacks are going to be judged by that same standard. Tired of different sets of rules, standards and benchmarks established for Cowboys quarterbacks, but other quarterbacks get built in excuses.

Nope!!

Well go on "fighting" for him because even if Dak saw you on fire he wouldn't take the time to piss on you and put it out.

Unrequited love is so tragic........

Apparently you didn't read what I said. I said Dak AND Romo.

Of course I'm joking about "fighting" the hypocrisy. With that said, it doesn't matter who would put me out if I was on fire. Hypocrisy, double standards, goalpost moving or whatever you want to call it.....

There is too much of it going on around here and it's sad because it only shows how low some people's football IQ is. Standards for one quarterback, then the same standards for all quarterbacks, no excuses and cherry picking.

The thing is, is that he's had his worst injuries on non-contact plays

He becoming Mr Glass
Well that is one of the reasons I like the joe Milton trade. Didn't at first but after seeing his potential and the next to nothing we paid, good signing

Is there an award given out for the player who can generate the most hot air?
I found it.......... And funny, it's the same award he got for 2nd place in MVP voting.

The Niners proved, even after the worst NFL Draft Trade of All-Time, that you can win with a well built team and Mr. Irrelevant.

Some how not many Owners and GM's even seem to recognize or comprehend what happened.

Now the Niners are gutting their team. When they most likely could have traded Purdy, kept their team together and just added another QB to replace him and kept rolling.

What team has proven, you can win with a crappy team and a really good QB by himself?

Dak is done. Dak isn't a bad personality, but what's done is done.

This is like a waiting period where everyone knows how it's ends, but there's no other choice due to a bad contract.

I hope Dak makes me look foolish, but let's be real that's probably not going to happen.

If you tear down your house and move into a new house in the same spot, have you really moved?
You might be living in a motel for a while, if it takes 3+ years to build your new home.

The Niners will rebuild faster than GM Jethro, I will guarantee you that much.

Additionally, we know the TEAM will not be successful with him.
A franchise QB is the only thing that can overcome our inept FO. That being said, a team with 21 all pros couldn’t carry Dak over the finish line. He’s always gonna choke. It’s not in him. Lots of QBs like Dak in the league. His skill set is just too limited. His brain doesn’t process fast enough, he’s not very accurate and he folds when you need him most.
