Prescott plans to continue being a mobile QB

There is.

About three people on this board.
I think that's a slightly unfair assessment. Many of us would love for him to succeed, but just don't believe he's capable. I'd love to be proven wrong since I was a Dak fan for several years. But that ankle injury mentally wrecked him. He's been a choke artist since then.

When you have an inferior team, not sure you can call that chocking.

The second 49ers playoff game. The defense did enough to win, most of the team did enough to win, Dak absolutely choked. He contributed to the choking against them the first time too, and especially against the Packers. When the QB contributes to a lack of production at the beginning of the game, it trickles down. Is he the only culprit? heck no, but their choking/inability doesn't excuse his. Why is that difficult for some to get? He's paid to produce and when it matters he doesn't produce. He has a record contract...he's got a record responsibility for producing because of it.

Even if he has 100% recovered and healthy, I don't believe for 1 second he will 100% trust that it won't pop, therefore I can't see him running with 100% effort. I really hope I am wrong and underestimating him, but severe calf and hamstring trauma is extremely hard to overcome. anyone that has severely popped a hammy or calf knows how vulnerable it is to re-injure.
That’s what I’m worried about. The re-injury factor. I just assume Dak stay in the pocket as much as possible. If he’s being chased then yes obviously run away but I feel it’s a bad idea to call plays to intentionally have him run. If he goes down early it’s going to be another long season.

Is this how he is announcing his new partnership with Verizon? ....bc that's the only way he's going to be associated with anything mobile
Ha ha now that was some good material right there and got this old timer laughing for a minute.

His plan should be to become more mobile but good luck with that coming off another serious leg injury. He’s probably lost at least another step.

He contributed to the suck. The guy elevates nobody and needs nearly everyone playing Pro-bowl caliber. If anyone offensively struggles, he struggles.
Dak couldn't recognize a bank vault being left open with nobody around, he is too busy taking a free pen.

You're talking about the game when Zeke sucked and Pollard got hurt. The offense was clearly different with Pollard out of the game.

That was also the game where Blamd was afraid to hit Kittle. Just curious, did Bland choke???

Of course I’d love to see him succeed but the story has been written on Dak.

Like a mountain climber with arthritis he's on his way down.

I would say he needs to work on the things he does well, but he's mastered buffaloing Booger and his fan club with, "best shape of my life "

Dak is in denial if he thinks he is a mobile QB; moving around in the pocket avoiding rushers is much different than tucking the ball and running with intent. Dak is what…31 years old? He is on the downside of his physical prime and with a couple of surgeries he is nowhere close to where he needs to be physically if he intends to run the ball.
While dropping weight might make him faster, it isn’t going to protect him as well when he gets tackled.
I can’t believe Jerry wants Dak running taking unnecessary risks with all the money he is being paid and the back-up QB situation in disarray.
But…hey…you go Dak!
