Prescott seems to be healthy

No one likes it when someone says something like it’s fact when it’s not. You said “He’s pretty beaten up at this point in his career” which is BS.
What are you talking about? It is a fact. He’s been hurt almost every season the last 4 and suffered a horrific lower leg injury that was career threatening back in 2020.

No NFL player has ever said “my body isn’t beaten up” after playing a decade in the league.

I think Dak can still play at a high level, but to pretend the injuries haven’t stacked up lately is dishonest.

Baghdad Bob is at it again.

Here is Dak’s recent injury history:
  • 2020: Suffered a dislocated ankle and compound fracture in Week 5 against the New York Giants, requiring surgery and missing the rest of the season.
  • 2021: Returned from the ankle injury but suffered a calf injury during Week 8.
  • 2022: Missed multiple games due to thumb injuries.
  • 2024: Tore his right hamstring off the bone in Week 9 against the Atlanta Falcons, leading to season-ending surgery
Dak has had 2 recent major right leg injuries. That, by definition, is “beaten up”. These injuries continue to compound…..especially when they are in the same region of each other.
Welcome to the NFL. It is not like he has chronic back problems like Romo.

Nope. Not chronic back problems. But he does have right leg problems that are intertwined and will only continue to get worse. They’ve already severely limited his game.

You will see otherwise.
So you’re saying that we will see vintage 2017 Dak Prescott where he averages 6.3 yards a carry and gets 6 rushing touchdowns this season? The young dual threat Dak Prescott?

That would be great!

Because his rushing average and touchdowns dropped off about 50% following the first leg injury. I’m sure they will only continue to decline following an injury that ripped the muscle off of the bone.

We’ll have a better idea of how many years he has left after this season.
Should've had it after last season. an injury that will slow him down, when he already had problems just standing there, taking a sack, doesn't look too promising

Dak has never been a running QB.

Who is holding out for 2017 Dak? I’d be good with 2023.

Dak didn't really look much better last season than a proven backup quarterback named Cooper Rush. I'm not saying that Cooper Rush > Peak Dak, but at this stage of his career he went from Deer caught in Headlights meaning the big game was too big for him to Deer caught in Headlights meaning that he is immobile and will stand there in the pocket, taking the sack. That is where he was last season, before the injury, now that he got an injury that makes him more immobile, I find it silly that people are doing their MVP chant.

So now we want to blame Dak, because he can't avoid a pass rush from a poor OLine last seaosn.

Let's add it to the list.

1. Dak's fault we have no run game.
2. Dak's fault we can't stop the run.
3. Dak's fault because he can not avoid the pass rush, with poor OLine.
4. Dak's fault he can't throw deep because the ball has to come out quick or he will be sacked.
5. Dak's fault he can't score 40+ to beat the good teams in the league.
6. Dak's fault he can't score 7 TD's in a row.
7. Dak's fault our GM, does not believe in FA.
8. Dak's fault our GM wants to wait and overpay players, so our GM can use it as an excuse to not participate in FA.

What am I missing.........

There we go with all the whining and blame shifting again that the cult-o-dak does. It wasn't like it was a split second sacks. It was more like that there was noticeable time and Dak just stood there, froze up, made no move, whereas a mobile quarterback would've done something, and just took the sack. That is what people don't like about the cult, they throw the entire team under the bus, instead of being able to admit the obvious.

Yeah 2017 Dak might be the worst one I don’t want that one lol.
Now the irony here is once again the whole entire core of the team when you talk about the offense running through Ezekiel Elliott I didn't think Troy looked any good during that zero and two start that Emmett Smith held out I mean they took away Ezekiel Elliott and unfounded ridiculous way that kind of threw everybody off in a very young quarterback not only his best friend but where the offense ran through them he lost some confidence I'm sure but I also had to do with the rest of it when we look back on those seasons like 2020 with all the injuries last year with all the injuries you could see why players wouldn't play at their best they're good reasons for that..

I mean think about it as Ezekiel Elliott was basically in a role like Emmett Smith was and they were counting on him after that rookie season to pretty much carry the team they wanted Prescott to be a bus driver and it turns out they didn't give him a run game they didn't have an answer I mean I don't remember everything but I remember Troy having a bunch of games where he had around 200 yards some under that I remember games where he had two touchdowns and one interception I remember games where he'd have one touchdown and two interceptions the man was not perfect he did not walk on water but I know this his team counted on Emmett Smith the heartbeat of this team was that offensive line Emmett Smith and then you can look to the defense and the coaching and Troy while great he would never had carried the team by himself and I'm sure his play would have looked pretty bad if we'd have lost Emmett Smith for like seven games because I saw what it looked like for two games...

I get what you're saying he looked off a lot of that season but I think they're playing exploded and we're talking about a guy in his second year now missing his best friend and what they were counting on going into the season I don't remember everything about 2017 but that's what I do remember roger Goodell bent us over and pretty much screwed Dallas...
