I usually dont take issue with Dak's comments, but I hope he doesn't block himself out from reality. In the end teams our measured based on their playoff success so when he talks about 12 win seasons its meaningless come Janurary.

I forget; What were we expecting for a record this season?

My preseason prediction was 11-6 and a first round loss. I wasn't thrilled with our offseason. However, they were better than I expected and alot of moves went our way. I expect to win in round 1 and anything goes in round 2.

Raise your hand if you expected this team to win 12 games this season, or last for that matter. Consider where this team was three years ago compared to today. Some of you don't like him because he doesn't fit your mold of a hard-nosed, Tom or Jimmy type. Some don't like him because your expectations are simply unrealistic and nothing short of Bill and Tom will be acceptable. Some of you don't like him because he's fat.

Simply put, he's made some slightly above average teams on paper look like legitimate contenders, yet many of you want him canned. It's absolute lunacy. We gave a great coach on the sideline, and many will never appreciate him until he's gone. Personally I hope that ship doesn't sail any time soon. We're lucky to have Big Mac, and based on how many of you are acting, we don't deserve him.

Well, back-to-back 12 victories is a good argument if you are not used to playoff success. A lot of us Cowboys fans are spoiled by our playoff success in the 70s, 80s and early 90s. Our expectations built on that success may not be fair or realistic, but that doesn't change it. Fans don't want to see our team stick it out with a coach who can get to the playoffs but not be a threat to go all the way. We endured that once with Garrett, so we'd rather see a quick trigger than just be satisfied with 12-win seasons.

Got no axe to grind with MM, any coach will have a tough time here with an overcontrolling owner. Two successive 12 win seasons is hard to do.

I would come out and show support for Chubbs too since he hasn't benched WENTZ 2.0 for his lousy play since his return from the injury list. Wentz 2.0 has singled handily sucked the air out of this team with his interceptions and non-stop 3 and outs! Not to mention the sacks he ran into trying to scramble when he had open receivers to throw to. The QB is just straight up lousy, goes into panic mode anytime a d-lineman farts in his direction!!!!!!!!!

I find this kind of funny in a way, as if MM is going to be the coach next season, because Dak sure as hell knows he will be the QB. He's not scared, he has nothing to lose for next year or two.

lol...you could bring the Messiah down to coach the Cowboys and he could not bench Dak because Jerry would not allow it. Dak is safe and he knows it no matter who the coach is, and that is a problem, that and Dak cannot be traded and he sure as hell is not going to be benched.
