I put that to rest a long time ago. As a fan of Romo and now a fan of Dak since he took over I don't waste too much time trying to compare them. I think Romo was a very good QB for this team and gave reason for hope. Dak is still playing and his career far from over, I hope he can help get this team over the hump and to a SB but if he can then it will be because Dak and this team were able to step up and get it done.

That said, tap the brakes, Stans. He won a 1st round game against a 8-9 team.

In 2009 Romo and the Cowboys destroyed the Eagles in the 1st round, only to get trounced the following week by Minnesota. Let's see how Dak does in SF.

Oh also, Romo actually started for about 8 1/2 years, minus injuries and starting as a 3rd stringer.

Don't try so hard..Dak will get his due if and when he gets us over the hump.

Nope, its a stupid debate to begin with, and to be honest wanting to put it to bed forever only adds fuel to the fire. The Cowboys have over the last two decades have had two really good not great quarterbacks that 2/3rds of the league would kill to have, but because we want to constantly pit these two against each other Cowboy fans can't appreciate what they have been given.

The whole Dak, Romo thing is a silly argument. Romo was done in 2016, we were not going to win the SB with him playing that year.
Dak was a pup, and like Romo he has really improved from where he started.

I have to give Dak credit, i thought signing him was a mistake. I am eating crow.
Dak has really become one of the best at pre snap, line of scrimmage adjustments. This is not me saying this, I have heard several writers, analytics guys who really watch the all-22, etc.
I have even heard someone call him the closest to Peyton Manning we have in the league, in terms of pre snap, analysis.
