Romo 14 seasons
Prescott 6 seasons

LOL.

So you count the seasons Romo was on the bench developing and the year he was injured and didn't play but don't count the year Prescott was injured and didn't play.

Romo's first year starting was 2007. Even if you want to count 2006 when he came in late and include 2015 when he was out he had 10 seasons as the starter.

Prescott has been the starter here for 7 seasons.

Romo did not start for 14 years just stop it ..... And Prescott has played for 7 years.

The comparison is
Romo 11 years
Dak 7 years

Stop lying about stuff to make a weak point.
And to get to 2 wins (which is sad for both, but that was his point) it was 9 years (if you count the partial 2006 as a whole) to 7 years

Makes no sense anyway.
Different teams, different opponents, different coaches, etc, etc,.

10 years as a starter. Compared to six years with Dak. Let it RAYNE.

Yeah they were replacing Jimmy anyway so I would be shocked if they go back to him.
and Cowboys were replacing Romo in large part the injuries were becoming a bigger factor. It is not like Romo left Dallas and went to play for anyone else. He was done, physically

I give Dak all the credit in the world. He balled last night. Best game ever.

That said, tap the brakes, Stans. He won a 1st round game against a 8-9 team.

In 2009 Romo and the Cowboys destroyed the Eagles in the 1st round, only to get trounced the following week by Minnesota. Let's see how Dak does in SF.

Oh also, Romo actually started for about 8 1/2 years, minus injuries and starting as a 3rd stringer.

Don't try so hard..Dak will get his due if and when he gets us over the hump.
Well said!

I look forward to the day we can compare a quarterback to Aikman and Roger accomplishments in the playoffs…we use to get excited at competing in the NFC championship game and Super Bowl…now we are comparing playoff wins of 2 QBs that accomplished nothing post season…Dak has chance to change the script…

They had no plans to replace Romo nearly that soon.

So they picked a 4th rounder to do it then. Are you saying that was their plan?
No I don't think that was the plan until Dak showed he could do the job. No one expected a 4th rd QB to come in and do the job Dak did. As for Romo he played 5 games in 2 years injuries had taken a toll.
