If Dak performs well with this group of no-name receivers and leads this team to the playoffs once again, will you disappear for a whole year?

Bet???
So are you saying you will disappear for a year if we miss the playoffs? Is that the terms of your bet with him?

Not concerned with this. Hated losing Cooper but this is not 2018 team, Defense much improved over 2018, TE in place unlike 2018 and Witten retired. People can talk 2018 all they want but this is 2022 not 2018

Bingo.. It's lazy man's thinking to assert that just because things didn't go well 4 years ago they will automatically not go well now. Dak is light years better than he was back then and the defense is orders of magnitude better. I'm getting a good vibe from this team.. And to be honest I almost never get that.. But something about this bunch makes me think they're about to kick some tail.

I think this is a much better team, shaky rushing attack aside. Defense is the best it's been since 2003(yes I know how most fans felt about Gregory) and passing attack is probably going to be better overall. Plus the offensive line should be improved so Dak should have more time back there to wait for receivers to come open.

I don't know how our offense will pan out this year. Too many moving parts for me to judge. But people making bets based on 2018 might be in for a surprise. Dak is a lot better now than he was then, and I'm not even a Dak fan. Back in 2018 he had huge redzone issues and was just starting to go down the middle of the field more.

I think this offense goes as far as the OL allows.

You must have loved the team before Cooper was brought in. I knew that Jerry had a short memory. Now I know that fans have even a shorter memory. Dak has not improved the play of any WRs. In fact, it’s just the opposite. Dak will totally stink it up if the WRs are not good enough to bail him out. I should have known that certain fans have little to no memory. Everybody saw just how bad Dak played in the 49er playoff game. In the last month or so, these fans have totally forgot that game and they think that the rest of us has forgotten the sorry level of play, which was led by Dak.
I loved Prescott initial rookie season. That’s what I want to get back to Yeah how does a Receiver bail out a quarterback. Explain that to me. Who’s throwing them the football lol

It's a great premise, but do we have the o-line to get this done? I would like to believe we do, but Biadasz and McGovern and Ball have something to say to you.
I think that’s exactly the style this line can produce with. I don’t think they’re going to be graded pass protection. get rid of the football move the chains . And field position is going to be a huge difference

Lamb and Shultz are definitely great pass catchers at their respective positions. Gallup when healthy is a great #2.

Lets just say we disagree.

Prescott is best in a spread, hurry up offense. One of the better deep throwing QB's in the NFL.
No I’m not disagreeing because I understand that. But they’re not big names across the league superstars. I definitely think we can dink and dunk with better field position move the chains win football games. And yes he’s definitely better at the deep ball than most. He just needs time. And this offensive line is a pancake manhandling line

Randall Cobb came off 2 awful years in GB to Dallas and won the WR3 role and blossomed, left and has been immediately non-existent.
Amari had career high years of yards, TDs and receptions all with Dak.
Malik Turner and Ced Wilson came out of nowhere to perform well enough last year to get contracts elsewhere.

Dak and this offense will elevate WRs that get to be fortunate enough to be target 3-5 in this system.
There is zero doubt there.

Personally I love it, we don’t need big-name receivers ,we’re going to make our receivers have big names. CD lamb Exception.
Free agency prima donnas. I’ve always said keep them, let somebody else have that price tag .
I hope I’m right . maybe Jerry Jones and Company finally learned how to do things.
Lol not that they didn’t before , we have championships , but it’s been a while. Obviously.
Smash mouth, control the ball, dink and dunk football. That’s what works best for Prescott it always has.
I have a feeling we’re going to get back to it. Go cowboys can’t wait for the season.
I can’t understand how you have one bit of confidence going into the season with the circumstances being almost identical to the circumstances that produced such disastrous results only a few seasons ago. I don’t think Dak has shown anything that points towards him not needing a very good group of WRs to be successful.

It's a good thing that talent evaluations are strong for Dallas at receiver.

Two things to remember: it's not 2018 anymore and Dak is a better quarterback than he was four years ago. And CeeDee Lamb, Jalen Tolbert, and maybe after week two or three Michael Gallup are better than Allen Hurns, Deonte Thompson, and Tavon Austin.

Garrett wasn’t forcing Dak to throw inaccurate passes to subpar WRs.
Not that I'm going to throw my hat into this one, but sometimes sub-par WR's make QB's look more inaccurate than they are.
Just talking about sub-par WR's, not our QB.

Yeah Garrett didn't do jack squat with the development of Dak. When you don't do anything as coach, your the problem, not the solution.

He sucked in 2018 before Coop came along. What makes you think things are going to be different this time around?

Its little bit different this time, Ceedee and D.schultz combinedly are better than Allan hurns and co , we had in 2018.
