Game Day Preseason Cowboys and Cardinals Thread

I like Bill Jones as a play by play man. I used to listen to Brad Sham and Dale Hansen while watching the games on TV back in the 80s and 90s. It was great.

But poor Brad Sham is just way past his time to retire. I can’t take him anymore. If you’re listening on radio while driving, he waits forever to give the score, often gets the player involved in the play wrong, or just misreads what just happened.

I was driving home from a restaurant last Saturday with my wife, listening to the ps game vs Seahawks. When Cam Brown caught that TD pass late in the first half, Sham didn’t even announce it as a TD. I didn’t have a clue what had happened. He said something like “Howell throws it deep…and what happened there…is that a catch?” And finally Babe Laughenburg said, “Brad that’s Cowboys touchdown to Cam Brown.”

If Babe hadn’t of jumped in, I had no idea what had happened. Brad Sham was great for a long time. His time is up. IMO.
He was one of the good ones, but I still miss me some John Madden

Yes time for Brad Sham to retire.jeaorng him on some highlight videos. Relally sounds bad.

Yes, Bill Homes does a good job.
I wonder if Michael Irvin will joint them in the booth in their PS here in Dallas. Or maybe even tonight.

Giant put the ball on the ground, Miami has it, on their own 10 yard line Giants were going in for a touchdown

Kyle will be coming back from Baltimore.

There is a week off right after preseason, before the season
Cowboys are gonna pull a trigger on something
I hope you are right. But, on what scale?

Would it be a "substantive" move? Would it be a relatively minor move?

We will see. I just don't see the front office doing much more than a minor move.

It looks like they will do something.

It's because it's the Cowboys. Love em or hate em, they will be watched on a greater scale. And people are more likely to miss the game the earlier it is. With it being late, there's just more time throughout the day to think about it and therefore plan to watch it.
Bro it’s just preseason. They shouldn’t be worried about the ratings or draw.

Dolphins look horrible,
Giants don’t look good even though the dolphins looked this bad,
