Going to watch tonight as I always do,...but its going to be tough. Had a bad sleep last night,...slept maybe four hours tops. My start time is 9 at least as Im in central. Gonna suck a little though as Im old, and ornery, and crotchety, and to top it all off Im all out of beer too!

I hope we play some starters today. Especially on defense since its new. Maybe a series. I also want Steele to start cuz man he needs all the work he can get. Let him get a series or 2 today. I would tell Dak if he has to take the intentional grounding and don't try to throw and get hit. Cuz man I do not trust Steele. Dak gets one series to preserve the QB hits in preseason.

Better to tailor a single offense for qbs with a similar skill set I think.

It’s definitely the best deal out there, it might not be a perfect format for what people are looking for, but preseason I’ll take it

I like Bill Jones as a play by play man. I used to listen to Brad Sham and Dale Hansen while watching the games on TV back in the 80s and 90s. It was great.

But poor Brad Sham is just way past his time to retire. I can’t take him anymore. If you’re listening on radio while driving, he waits forever to give the score, often gets the player involved in the play wrong, or just misreads what just happened.

I was driving home from a restaurant last Saturday with my wife, listening to the ps game vs Seahawks. When Cam Brown caught that TD pass late in the first half, Sham didn’t even announce it as a TD. I didn’t have a clue what had happened. He said something like “Howell throws it deep…and what happened there…is that a catch?” And finally Babe Laughenburg said, “Brad that’s Cowboys touchdown to Cam Brown.”

If Babe hadn’t of jumped in, I had no idea what had happened. Brad Sham was great for a long time. His time is up. IMO.
