I'll be shocked if they keep Brown over him. THey are the same player and one is on his rookie deal and the other is walking.

Brown can block and play ST, and be as good or better receiver than Simi.

Williams wasn't benched to my knowledge. The plan was always for Tyler to get those reps. If anything i'd say its not a good sign Tyler isn't starting but I think they just wanted to see Conner with some of the better linemen.


He's probably a goner for salary wise but they've played him at nearly every position on the line. Someone is going to value that. Conner is not the failure that this fanbase thinks he is.

Betcha CWill was benched as a center... those bad knuckle ball snaps ... but why would you place your true starting center back in the game ? ... and be forced to go knuckle baller as a lengthy starter ?

Yeah but you don't keep him over Simi because you arent' getting much more. If anything Simi got upside that Brown doesnt have.
