He's a rookie tackle that's pretty raw so I really don't care what is great as he needs needs to get time and get activated too Clayton Adams schemes and get comfortable but I think he looked bad the whole game but yes he had moments set the rest of the line, i've seen Guyton/Steele do the same stuff, so which point?

Yes he's a developmental player but you never know how fast he can develop did this with Hoffman and Bass inside you just got to find some guys can develop on the outside now but I think they're going to probably have to go get a veteran swing tackle so I just for protection and insurance..

Anybody that wants too poo-poo on the Cowboys being undefeated in preseason better rethink it.

The NY Jets have been undefeated 5 times in preseason and the results speak for themselves.

Blue is the 3rd running back on this team behind Davis. Mafah didn’t get any carries and they experimented with him at kick / punt return so that’s a big hint to me they are trying to find a place for him but won’t make it

I think putting him on returns means they are trying to find a way to keep him. If they can get guys they feel comfortable with on returns....then maybe Turpin becomes trade bait for a late rounder.

Got to watch the game this morning, and yes, Milton is the real deal, I think. But, the defense impressed me, that is what I was looking for, I know the offense will be good, but, defense wins games.

I especially agree with this... what is with the roster rules anyway? What is their reasoning for only allowing 53 players with only 48(+1) dressing out and not say... 60 with 52 or more?

It's all about the money. NFL teams are bleeding.

I don’t know that anyone that bothers to hang around here puts much stock into a preseason WL record.

The OP is excited. He has never seen any glory days yet still stuck with this crap of a franchise ruled by one old man’s ego.

I just became a fan of #55 Barham...I will be following him closely. We havent had that type of aggressive LB play in a long time.

A litlle dissapointed in #42 who we got from Niners. He looks like the part but soesnt seem to make plays. Ill keep watching him too.

For me, they’ve dominated both games and scrimmages.

Special teams coverage is really the only link I’ve seen so far

Nice comp on Davis/Dowdle. Seems about right and they’ve gotta go with Davis. He always has to earn but usually does. His burst is there. Blue should dress and get some snaps in the right spots. I’m still trying to figure out where Lupke fits in. I love the idea of a fullback but I don’t see them going that route at all.

I don’t what they are gonna do about TE. I wish the starter was a little more explosive, but the 2-5 situation is pretty solid. Schoon is gonna always take a beating, but he is a solid backup. The TEs on this team don’t need to be studs.

I like Sam Howell a lot, and Miltons dramatic improvement almost makes me sort of want to beleive that the season may not be completely lost if Dak goes down.

There’s usually some guys they want to keep but initially cut. I suppose that’s some handshake deal and they know they will be retained after the 53 is set. Or is it 55 now?

I think they're hoping they can groom Blue to do the things that Turpin does, say next year, so they're going to get in plenty of snaps right now he's doing a whole running back play call from the play sheet but when it comes to real games, he's going to be used stretching balls to the outside going out for passes, motion, he's going to be the change of pace back.

I really like all of the backs is going to be tough man there's some cut downs that are going to be really tough and I think the running back room is going to be the toughest and then the tight end room...Kuntz was impressive

I think Kuntz can sneak through waivers. Thing is, I believe those guys could be poached at any time. They seem to really like Spann-Ford. Ferg is the starter. I really wouldn’t cut Schoon. He can step in and start if need be. Not sure if I can say the same about the others.

I think many of us just had higher hopes for Blue….maybe to turn into a Gibbs type playmaker if he sees 8-10 snaps a game. I dunno. That’s probably the reason for any angst.

There is gonna be some sort of a roster crunch, but isn’t that an indicator that the depth is much better? I think the depth on this squad is better than anything we have seen since before Garrett was here.

Also, all other teams have their own guys they want to sneak through waivers. I expect to lose a player or two, but again that speaks of decent depth.

Problem is, once they get on the PS and injuries begin to mount around the league, then guys could get claimed.

OK...he seemed much better the 2nd and 3rd.....he started first quarter 4 carries for 12 yards with 10 coming on one run. He looked timid and went down easily. He looked better as the game went on.

I was strictly speaking about the preseason only. I think it goes all the way back to 2007 where they looked organized and competent, the backups and depth that is. That is two decades according to my math.
