My point is that these players are all getting recycled it's not some test of their depth

It's the backups. Third and fourth string guys. I mean, are you going to seriously sit here and say the defense sucks because those guys aren't good? Yes, the starting defense isn't generating pressure and aren't forcing turnovers, but they've held their own this preseason. They held the Seahawks to 10 points at half which I'd say isn't that bad.

I don't think the D sucks. I think it's mediocre.

It is just that their coaching staff and executive leadership does an incredible job of identifying athletes and then putting them in the best situations to succeed.

The coaching/organizational gulf is far wider than the talent one.

That's true but I think they can identify talent better than us. What they're doing to us in the trenches right now isn't coaching, their players are just better than ours.

That whole 3rd quarter should go down as a learning experience for the Cowboys organization. It clearly identified the many weaknesses this team has on defense.

What should they learn?

That Russell Wilson and the starting offense of the Seahawks is better than the Dallas Cowboys 2nd and 3rd stringers?
