I hate the defensive holding call. It shouldn't be an automatic first down.

sure it should. can you imagine how many holding penalties there would be if it was only a 5 yard penalty. any DB that got beat even a little would grab hold instead of letting up a big play....

Moore is better than not having a backup, but his lobs really are not impressive.

It should be a 10 yard penalty and a replay of the down. Automatic first down is nuts. I've seen too many offenses get bailed out by a phantom defensive holding call.

Moore will perfectly functional with the starters around him. He's got my vote of confidence vs. what else is out there. Plenty of scrub QB's in this league, and some are starters.
