It doesn’t bode well when your offense doesn’t appear to be as good as it has been. It’s not going to help wiping out good plays we have with penalties. The last thing we need is to be put behind the chains all season.

22 of the penalties came on players expected to play some kind of role when season begins, which was higher than I thought. Figured was more back-end guys.

It doesn’t bode well when your offense doesn’t appear to be as good as it has been. It’s not going to help wiping out good plays we have with penalties. The last thing we need is to be put behind the chains all season.

Maybe that was the plan. Let the offense decline enough so not so many good plays are wiped out by penalties.

They’re trying to slow down the juggernaut.
