I don't know if I'm Nit-Picking here because I can't stand Garrett, but this really irritated me.
When the press conference was starting, they asked him, "How are you doing Jason?" He litterally answerd "Fantastic" with a smile. I mean he had just received the worst possible news and instead of just telling the truth he comes out and says this, the season is probably over if Romo doesn't play, to me he came out as a fake. I just don't see a Jimmy, parcells, Belichik, Coughlin, Tomlin, Macarthy, Fox, Harbaugh, you name it acting like this. SMH. It will obviously have no impact on the game but I just didn't like it.
Or maybe just maybe he is fantastic because that injury probably saved his job.

Edit title: it should say doing instead of ding :)

Never liked his robotic press conferences, stopped watching them last year.

I found myself listening to Kelly and Trestman interviews, just something honest about them. Trestman is robotic too but his voice is relaxing.

Yea, he sure didnt seem very upset he jost lost his QB for the season......................if that 4th down pass is incomplete, this idiot is standing in the umemployment line today..............and he stands up there saying "fantastic".

What a loser.............I wonder if he is still going to feel "fantastic" when Philly stomps a mud hole on his arse Sunday.

There are way too many things to be irritated about when it comes to this team.

If that is one of them... I suggest you fix yourself a drink and chill out... I suggest a nice mixed drink with Captain Morgan® rum. :)

I hope this doesn't effect Jerry's decision to keep Garret, since we don't have Romo. Garret should be gone with a loss regardless of with Romo or without Romo. Then I wonder if he'll still be "fantastic".

Regardless of the reason, I'd rather have my coach go up there with a positive mindset and present a strong front than be down in the dumps about it. No time to sulk. Lot of work to do.

I feel that Garrett runs a decent press conference. The "fantastic" is because the Cowboys just arrived home last night after a big big win. His troops are in Eagles game mode already and he leads the team in keeping focus. I wouldn't read too much into feeling fantastic. He is level headed enough to realize the concern this is for all of Cowboys Nation and his team. my 2 cent

It just seem weird...............reporter says, "how you doing now that you just lost your starting QB?"

Garrett says, "I am feeling ****** fantastic"

What a total bush league response.

His contract runs through next year, so he'll still be making millions whether he's working or not. He has a degree from Princeton, and regardless of what we think of him, he's still very highly regarded in the football world. Dude is set for life. I'd be fantastic too.

That's what I posted, they asked HIM and he said he was Fantastic, like I said I might be nit-picking because I can't stand him but common, what an answer.

I like JG as part of the Cowboys management but would like to see him moved to GM period. I think he could do the team better in that area. But while he is here I give him props. He has made many a mistake but he does a have a pretty cool demeanor.
