No excuse. Micah got owned by old man Trent Williams. Micah is much younger, quicker and more agile. He needs to make sure he doesn't get dominated by Trent Williams again.
No. He just needs to feast on better prey. Move Micah around.

Don't know why you call him "old man" Trent. He's one of the top 3 OT's in the game.

And guess what? The top 3 OTs virtually ***NEVER*** get beat, no matter what all-pro (or even HOF) rushers oppose them.

I suggest you do some research, to be better educated, on how many sacks (or even pressures) have Lane Johnson or T Williams allowed in entire seasons. These guys shut the door with near 100% effectiveness. They have Gandalf level powers: You shall not pass.

I suggest you do some research and realize the pass rushing greats like Lawrence Taylor, Derrick Thomas, Charles Haley, etc would show up during the biggest of games and would dominate against the best competition. That's what made them great and separate from other edge rushers. If Micah wants to be great, he has to dominate against the best competition especially during the biggest of games like the greats of the past have. No excuses.

Micah can take on any offensive lineman in the NFL and this fan won't seek award points to find his respect. He stands on his own merits, period.

MP is so much stronger now.
Identification and technique have improved notches as well. Add that with contributions for linebacker duties as well, and the Dallas box can compare directly with a SF with no dropoff at all.

Chase Young is seriously overrated.
I don’t know if anyone rates him highly now, but he had a lot of hype entering the league.

Feels like the hype was partially due to the fact that his alma mater had recently cranked out the Bosa brothers, who found immediate success.

I think I got caught up in the hype also.

Recently saw Lions fans gassing up Aidan Hutchinson.

Great player, but not in that elite pass rusher league yet apparently

Trent Williams erases most every defender on most every play. The plan will likely be to match Micah on other defenders...most of the time.
You mean match him on other offensive lineman I mean I'm a little confused on match him on other defenders lol

yeah if you want to rely solely on analytics and charts, the guy can play he's very good he literally was one of the players last year that gave Tyler Smith problems at left tackle literally was owning him on every play it seemed like when he just made a really fast spin move. If you look at your with your eyes and use basic pass rush stats like sacks and pressures the dude is up there

people use way too many charts to way too much analytics they just shouldn't know and I think that you're wrong this guy is really good..

If I'm reading this correctly,

Boye Mafe of the Seahawks is rarely double teamed. However, when he is, he is still highly successful.

Randy Gregory is double teamed about 22% of the time and it greatly reduces his effectiveness.

Micah is double teamed quite often and still finds a great deal of success.
I believe these are overall pass rush win rates, not win rates against double teams. On that understanding, the correct interpretation would be that Boye Mafe has a very high pass rush win rate, but he rarely faces a double team. Randy Gregory has a poor pass rush win rate but opponents still double team him roughly 20% of the time.

@America's Cowboy….Yes you have a very good point. But with that said, I truly believe Micah was beat up, hurt and ran out of gas by the end of last season.

Now even tomorrow he seems to be banged up. That knee was definitely bothering him last game. In watching “Sounds from the sidelines”, he was definitely not jovial and even seemed dismayed while sitting on the sideline.

IDK but yes you have a point.

there’s one maybe two plays in that video where micah was contained lol manhandled where?
They’re ignoring all the help by alignment the whiners gave Williams. Keep Micah around the guards and let him eat

Some guys just can't admit when they're wrong.
Based on those clips, TW was all over MP.
It's as clear as the video. Shrug.
that’s one of the two plays acknowledged lol.
