Price didn't help the team: did he hurt them?

I say yes.

The running game was ineffective most of the night (due in large part to BS holding calls on Flozell) although Julius clearly had the ability to pick up chunks of yardage when he had a hole. With Polite in, the "clock ball" the Cowboys tried to play in the second half might have succeeded.

Just a little food for thought.

Polite is technically our FB. We are really going to be using Witten and Campbell for the FB much of the time. If its Campbell I like that option a lot actually.

Why do you like it? It seemed like an utter failure last night..

But you didnt see it a lot either, so we (I) really dont have enough to make a sound opinion on it. I think Campbell can do fine at FB when we use him there, he's bigger, stronger, a damn good blocker, and has more experience. i dont know how the compare speed wise, but DC is not slow. I'm ok with it, and if I remember right, we only used Price a few times the whole game, he really had no impact either way.

Yeah, after last night, I want Polite active. I don't care if that means Price is inactive. He can ride the pine till we need him.

As far as Price goes.....I had more yards then he did last night. (Price -1 yards).

I liked the 4 wide set...would like to have seen much more of it.

How many plays was he in? Campbell is supposed to be a good blocker, so let's just move on. Price didn't lose the game for us, it was a horrible four minutes that did us in.

Unless Price can cover the deep zone, he's not responsible for anything.

And after the OLE!! blocks Polite was throwing in the San Diego game, he had no business being on the field. Besides, Al Johnson was saying after the game that the offensive line likes the multiple TE formation better.

4-wide? Are you nuts! No way we take that chance. Let's play dink and dunk on offense and then prevent on defense. Yes...that's the ticket!

Price was a decoy all frickin' night! The only pass he gets is a poorly designed WR screen? I wish they let him go deep and take a shot. Oh, but since Bledsoe had to release the ball within 1 millisecond, I guess he didn't see Price. They are going to have to find a happy medium for Drew, because last night made him very ineffective.
