Who you got? I gotta go with Randy I will never forget when he destroyed Dallas on Turkey day in 98. Best WR I have ever seen.

I'm going MegaTron. I think he can do more things. Moss was a deep threat, lethal but he didn't go over the middle as often.

Two totally different styles of WR, give me Megatron. The guy is a great player, but he's an even better person.

Funny, I was thinking about this very thing yesterday. If character/personality are omitted, then I take Moss. If you include them, then Megatron.

I took CJ but I don't think off the field should matter. They get paid to play. I would take TO over both of them.

Randy Moss ever get 300 yards receiving in a game? Ever get 1900 yards in a season?

I'd take Moss on a deep jump ball. Johnson on everything else.

Moss > CJ.

The best all time is still Jerry Rice BTW.

Sadly I was at that game. Bad memories.

Moss much closer to 1900 receiving than Calvin is to 25 TDs

Moss, Calvin drops way to many catchable balls for my liking.

this is spot on. He drops and fumbles way too much. He'd easily get 2500 yards in a season if he'd catch everything he should catch.

The biggest advantage Calvin has over most receivers is size and speed.

Moss was 6'4" 210lbs so that size advantage Calvin would enjoy isn't that great. And then of course Randy was much faster.

He was also a better route runner.

It's close, but I'd take Moss probably over anyone that I've seen.

The subtexts of this thread are intriguing - we can absolve our passing on Moss in the draft along with knocking down Megatron who used us like a kleenex a few weeks ago. Everything a Cowboy fan could want!

Someone said they'd take Moss on a deep jump ball? Seriously? That's the one kind of throw CJ was genetically designed in a government lab for.

Megatron and it isnt close for me. I will take the complete WR who can go across the middle and doesnt take plays off.

Calvin Johnson for sure. He can do everything. Keep in mind Moss also played with another receiving threat in Cris Carter for some years in Minnesota and Wes Welker in New England. Nate Burleson might be the best WR Johnson has played with so far in his career

Yep. You could take Randy Moss out of the game just like the Giants did in the Super Bowl. He didn't like running slant routes or over the middle routes. And Moss torched the Cowboys defense because the Cowboys defense was awful.
