I appreciate recaps of what people say no matter where they say it. But it gets really, really tiresome of your constantly shilling for kttb.com and "smoaky."

You are clearly trying to drive people their way, and that strikes me as inappropriate. We can't everyone making posts advertising stuff all the time.

You know....I've kinda wanted to post something like this.

I have no problem reading articles or visiting links.

But I've always felt this site was "safe"....safe for my kids to see, safe at work. By "Safe" I mean, no nasty pics, nothing that will crash my computer.

I see these links to click and I just don't want to go there.

I love that DCfanaticradio guy and this cowboyjoe love to post shows and interviews...but I dislike the fact that we have to go to another site and download it.

I had a heckuva time with a link a few days ago. I kept clicking the link, but my computer crashed everytime I tried to download something.

I know it sounds lazy, but it would be so much easier if someone would just post a synopsis....not a long recap....just give us the gist of what was said.

I try to do that when I find something.

Again, I hate to sound unappreciative....I guess I'm just too cautious.

I find audio and also record audio. The audio I find that is hosted at other sites I just post the link to the mp3 file that should open up for you in your default media player.

The audio I record is hosted at my site and I post the direct link to it here and then the audio opens into you default media player once again. On these instances I am using my bandwith and no one is ever even visiting my site.

The videos I record and post links to. We can't embed the video's here so how would you suppose we offer it to people? I used to throw up the link to the video's on Youtube, where I had over 100 of them, until they killed my acct because of copyright issues.

As for the idea that you would rather read a recap. I would rather hear the audio or view the video because there have been a gazillion times where the situation is misconstrued because sometimes a person's meaning can be taken wrong just by reading the text of the conversation.

Besides, what am I working for you? I should record, edit and upload the video and then also write up a recap of a 8,10,12 minute interview?

I do think it's great that the recaps are done though because the folks that can't listen or view the vids(work, no speakers, slower computer) can still get a taste of the info.

Now I will admit right now I have no idea if Cobra or Bizwah are mods here or staff members, but I don't see others complaining.

i said nothing about smoaky, only ktbb. i was just trying to get you to where these guys were saying something was important, and when i said you got on the wrong side of the bed, i was giving fans a place to listen, have nothing to do with advertising;

if you posting a link, and others have posted such alink, they say where it is coming from

i will in future try to not post smoaky so much but ktbb, to me, you have to say where it is coming from due to fact, sometimes fans post something but no proof or links

next, if you had been looking, and im not trying to say this in a mean way either, but if you looked a few days ago, and even last night, i posted about 2 things coming up on nfl network

then i posted about dfw sportbeat with brady tinker

then i posted about cowboys roundup

then i posted about on FSN or FSSW dallas cowboys training camp that they will have on every night for the next couple of weeks from 9 pm to about 10:30

i try to post everywhere i see cowboys news, not just ktbb, and i thought i was going a good thing when i posted about deion sanders, to me, former cowboys players that are

I had issues with your site a few days ago. I kept clicking on the show and it kept crashing my computer.

I worry about viruses and all sorts of things.

I know you do a good job. There's just so many times that I'm in a hurry...Last year it seemed that whenever someone posted a link to something like that, they'd just tell you what was said.

I don't necessarily think you ought to be the one to post a synopsis....but usually someone would....InmanRoshi was a guy I depended on while I was at work last season.

Again, I'm sorry I seem unappreciative. Not everyone is as computer-savvy as you. I have a hard time figuring out how to make things work.

I guess I don't see what the big deal is. If you don't want to click the link, don't click the link. The Mods on this site are also very good. I can't imagine a situation where a link would get by them that was "not safe", or if it did, I doubt it would for long.

I'm sure there are several people that enjoy the work that dcfanatic and others do. I prefer recaps, but I'm not going to put in the time to do them, and I don't blame others if they don't do the recaps either.

i do agree with you about using media for fans to listen to, instead of recaps, im not the greatest recaper, either, but just as you know try to get other fans cowboys news as i run across it.

all i can tell you, i have a HP computer, wiht 520 Intel pentium, i use compuserve, and to view most videos i have to go to my windows update, get on internet explorer to view videos,

my main use of videos is windows media and some real player

i use phone modem,

i did tell someone about you the other day and gave them your email, their computer would crash when they would listen to any video, hope was ok to give them your email, thanks buddy, joe

In all honesty, I don't open even a third of the links posted on this board; however, I do appreciate the effort of people such as DCFanatic and Cowboyjoe who work so tenaciously to provide us with information.

I detect no ulterior motive from Cowboyjoe. He seems to be a regular KTBB listener who simply enjoys their programs. And given the length of some of these interviews and programs, expecting a recap seems somewhat unreasonable.

Furthermore, I trust the mods on this site. If a board member was consistently posting bad or dangerous links, I expect they would handle the situation with all due timeliness.

If you dislike the poster, simply don't open the thread.

You too? I had over 30 videos on there and they closed my account because of NFL copyrights. Puhleeeeeez. What about all the other NFL vids posted? There are hundreds, maybe thousands of them on Youtube. I was really pissed at the time, but I'm over it. I do believe some Cowboys hater is reporting Dallas videos to the NFL, though. Probably a Stinks fan.

Hey DCFanatic and cowboyjoe, I really did mean when I posted the above earlier in this thread.

I really do appreciate your enthusiasm, both of you. I appreciate your sharing new info. I am not trying to be mean or hateful. (DCF, I listen to your radio show and appreciate the effort you make to entertain me). So my apologies if it came across as rude.

Really, had it not been kttb and this smoaky guy, I would have said nothing. I guess I got a little soured on him because the first several times I followed a link to him, his stuff just seemed like the same stuff from elsewhere, just warmed over. But whatever.

i look at it like if i didnt know something was coming up, i would want you guys to give me links to it, or say what you heard;

i do know firsthand how tough it is to do recaps, your trying to type and the guys being interviewed are talking fast, kinda hard to do

and like DC said, sometimes what i might interpret they are saying, it might be interpreted the other way so better to give videos

im not a great podcaster though, everytime i try to download it, wont work half the time;

so i give the link so at least you guys get there, and you can make the judgement yourself
