Hey DCFanatic and cowboyjoe, I really did mean when I posted the above earlier in this thread.

I really do appreciate your enthusiasm, both of you. I appreciate your sharing new info. I am not trying to be mean or hateful. (DCF, I listen to your radio show and appreciate the effort you make to entertain me). So my apologies if it came across as rude.

Really, had it not been kttb and this smoaky guy, I would have said nothing. I guess I got a little soured on him because the first several times I followed a link to him, his stuff just seemed like the same stuff from elsewhere, just warmed over. But whatever.

I honestly prefer recaps as I do most of my cowboys news at work. When I get home I just don't have the time to sit down and listen to a program. I love getting a quick rundown of what is said.

But that is no reason to stop the podcasts or whatever, just my personal preference.

right InmanRoshi's, is the best recaper there is,

one day im going to save enough so i can get one of those automatic word recorders for my computer,

its like you talk into it, and saves your speech,

and you can do the opposite, listen to a broadcast and let it do the typing, etc

sometimes like cobra says, there maybe things we dont realize when i put up the links to the ktbb site, i always thought it took you to the main page where the podcasts were, and then all you had to do was listen to the podcasts

and like DC said, i just try to get info to you cowboy fans as quick as i can

so, i have asked for DC and smoaky to walk me through some of these podcasts, to see why or what i am doing wrong, for some strange reason,

since i use compuserve, i cant listen to the podcasts or download them on compuserve, i have to start my internet modem phone line on compuserve, then start windows updates that starts my internet explorer webpage,

then i can get to the videos and podcasts, but have the time wont download, but at least i can listen to them, and thats where i have been giving you guys the links, sorry if it was creating a problem

was some great stuff though last night on blue star media that had the cowboys training camp, and i posted also about some upcoming interviews

and the interviews that DC put up and the one on the michael irvin were super

Our IT Director is a Cowboys fan, and I had an off the record conversation with him about Cowboys related websites. The official policy is that if it is not work related, it is not allowed through the filter. However, the unofficial policy is that a select few Cowboys sites get through.

I have this site and the official site that I can get to from work. I appreciate the recaps a lot more than the links because I cannot get to them at work. And nine times out of ten with the traffic on this site, the threads are buried by the time I get home and I really don't take the time to look through every page for that one thread with the one link.

It has nothing to do with not appreciating the people that post the links, or disliking them or even if they are "promoting" another website. I just want to be able to read a brief synopsis with the link so I at least know whether it is worth taking the time once I get home to research the thread and follow the link.

Living in Virginia, I can't get enough Cowboys web media, and I couldn't care less if I have to click a link to get it. The links posted by theebs, theo and countless others, as well as the magnificent work done by DCF, is a lifeline for me.

I frequent another board where posting content is not allowed. If you find something on another site that you want to share, you have to post the link. The reasoning is that if you post stuff instead of providing a link to the page where it's found, you are precluding some visitation to the site of origination, lowering traffic count and preventing people from viewing ad banners and other content, which I can kind of understand too.

I like the links and listen to them when I have time. When I don't have the time, which is often, I appreciate recaps (and thanks to all that take time to do recaps also). DCF, even when you take time to write a couple of sentences of either opinion or fact on the subject, even though not a recap, I appreciate that, too.

...I detect no ulterior motive from Cowboyjoe. He seems to be a regular KTBB listener who simply enjoys their programs. And given the length of some of these interviews and programs, expecting a recap seems somewhat unreasonable...

The fact that the interviews were either ongoing or the show was coming up is also to be considered here. I really appeciate the heads up when something interesting is on one of these show. But I also enjoy the recaps for the times when I actually have to work for a living and can't stop to listen right now (*&^%^%#$#@ stupid bosses!)

That said, I wish to thank all contributors to CZ. Whether it's a link, a recap, a web find, or a personal opinion, I appreciate them all.

nate said you can never have enough good players, but lucky if you have some great ones, and team were unselfish to win, not get awards or individual statics etc

back to adam jones, apply that pressure on opposing teams because you have what it takes to be a pro

he can handle it, this guy is very intelligent, nad his sat scores from college, and hte snake, across the field running a couple of miles on the snake, so deion says he is smart

Personally I appreciate people posting links to audio and video material. It takes too much time to scour the internet every day for info. It is extremely cool to be able to come here and get access to great Cowboy content.

Wow.

I find audio and also record audio. The audio I find that is hosted at other sites I just post the link to the mp3 file that should open up for you in your default media player.

The audio I record is hosted at my site and I post the direct link to it here and then the audio opens into you default media player once again. On these instances I am using my bandwith and no one is ever even visiting my site.

The videos I record and post links to. We can't embed the video's here so how would you suppose we offer it to people? I used to throw up the link to the video's on Youtube, where I had over 100 of them, until they killed my acct because of copyright issues.

CowboyJoe isn't going out of his way to promote KTBB.com, he just doesn't know how to set it up so you click the link and the audio opens into your media player on your computer.

He's just being a fan and yet you are giving him crap for offering you guys links to more Cowboys stuff?

As for the idea that you would rather read a recap. I would rather hear the audio or view the video because there have been a gazillion times where the situation is misconstrued because sometimes a person's meaning can be taken wrong just by reading the text of the conversation.

Besides, what am I working for you? I should record, edit and upload the video and then also write up a recap of a 8,10,12 minute interview?

I do think it's great that the recaps are done though because the folks that can't listen or view the vids(work, no speakers, slower computer) can still get a taste of the info.

Now I will admit right now I have no idea if Cobra or Bizwah are mods here or staff members, but I don't see others complaining.

I would like to hear from the people on this.

Before you answer let it be known that I just recorded interviews with Demarcus Ware and Jerry Jones from Sirius Radio. And trust me, those interviews won't be found anywhere on the web because Sirius sucks at posting podcasts. lol.

If Reality would like to chime in on this I think that would be great.

dc I do appreciate what you do although I can not listen to any of them because of speaker jack issues. I prefer recaps for that reason, but I understand linking them is much easier.
