Guys like Michael Irvin only come around once every generation. His combination of talent and natural leadership are extremely rare nowadays.

Funny, look at the guy in your sig.

I actually gave the show a chance and I came away surprised. Surprised that I didn't hate it and I might watch next week. Those drills they ran were great. Vomit and all. LOL

i kept thinking the whole show where is that intensity on this team and that michael irvin would make one heck of a coach.

he picked 2 of my favorite cowboys in coach joe and bill bates...these people are what the cowboys should be all about.

maybe this won't be the joke many people thought it would be including myself when i 1st heard of this reality show.

Everyone on this board has seen that.

I'll say it again. It makes me realize that we have nobody on our team like Irvin.

well Duh.....this where i seen it (on this board)....just trying to remind you in your self indulged pity syndrome that there is some heart on our team....

sorry if i interfered with your sense of defeatism.....carry on

Michael Irvin should be a football coach.

I was just telling myself this. I was very skepticle about this show, but now I am fired up! Mike's speech about desire overcomming fatigue makes me want to run gassers (well, not really).

Irvin still has passion. I think he would be a great coach, at the very least on the motivational side.

I like this show, and am going to watch the whole thing.

No kidding, man I LOVE his passion!!

It wouldn't surprise me to find out that whomever wins this show doesn't show up at the real Cowboys practice and think inside how much easier and low intensity the practices are.

Hope I'm wrong but I just cant muster up the faith in Wade to he'll put fire in players *****. I cant get the image of the damn DJ playing music at practice out of my head. That crap has gotta stop and get the team back to the days when practices were so hard that game days were a cakewalk by comparison

Yeah, I have this bad feeling that the conditioning day one on this show was more severe than any practice the Cowboys had this year. At the very least, I hope there are less days off, and more hitting in 2009's practices.

You need the game to match your passion and Choice doesn't have that. The person who did is in ......................

Denial that he's a cancer no matter where he shows up.

You do know that Wade is still here right?

And that first day for these guys was much harder than anything the Cowboys have seen in the last two seasons.

For thinking Choice isn't good enough to be a leader on the Cowboys?

.... that's not even what you said.

I thought it was obvious when somebody implied we needed a Irvin type on the team. Passionate and great was what Irvin was. Choice can't be that. :D

And you know this how? Because he started three of 4 games against the eventual Super Bowl champions, the year before's super bowl champions, eventual NFC championship team, and eventual AFC championship team and had over 350 yards rushing with a 5 yard per carry average, and had over 160 recieving yards, when he was basically the only RB on the team because of injuries?

Yeah... dude can't play.

We've become a joke because we have three quality RB's? Choice did nothing but produce when we had to rely on him. A leader can come from any position as long as they produce when given a chance to.
