Dallas Cowboys
2010 Grade: B-

The skinny: The Cowboys landed Dez Bryant in the first round and got Sean Lee in the second. That's two good starters, although Lee is coming off an injury. Seventh-round pick Sean Lissemore is a backup at nose tackle.

How I did: I liked the move to trade up to get Sean Lee, thought Bryant was a risk -- but only for character issues -- and made Sam Young, a tackle, my third-day gem. He didn't make it with them and is now in Buffalo.

Re-grade: C+

I dont understand why we lost points?

We missed out on two picks, and before he made a poor life choice Brent was a force on the line...I still say that draft is a solid B given the star power in Byrant and Lee

Anytime you land two players the caliber of Lee and Bryant, hat's a very solid draft.

If you look at each team, Prisco is not consistent with his grades.

Who cares. Grading is stupid, but it gives the media something to write about.

I'll take another C+ in 2013, please.

Really sloppy job by Prisco here.

1st. The guys have played 2 seasons not 3 so this is really a 2.5 year re-draft. Still far from a final grade.

2nd. He ignores Brent (supplemental pick) who started and played very well in 2010. That would be 3 starters and a rotational DL which is more than enough for an A grade.

3rd. Dez and Sean Lee are clearly Pro Bowl caliber players entering 2013. You can't ignore that because Lee 'was' injured.

As mentioned above I'd love to draft like this every year. We'd be knee deep in Pro Bowlers.

First, Dez has put together 1/2 of a good season. Lee can't stay healthy and complete a season which is why he was available in the first place.
Brent who knows? Hasn't contributed much yet.
Lissemore was a solid late pick

C+ seems about right to me

Compare to this draft and C+ seems correct

2010 Grade: B+

The skinny: The Patriots nailed it in this draft. They had 12 picks, and of those 12 players they landed four starters and Aaron Hernandez in that draft. The four starters are safety Devin McCourty (drafted as a corner), tight end Rob Gronkowski, linebacker Brandon Spikes and punter Zoltan Mesko. Getting Gronkowski and Hernandez make this draft. They also landed backups Jermaine Cunningham and Brandon Deadrick.

How I did: My choice for best pick was Gronkowski. I hit that one. My questionable move was taking Spikes, and he has proven to be better than I thought. The third-round gem was Hernandez, which has proved to be true.

Here is an A for further comparison

Seattle Seahawks

2010 Grade: B+

The skinny: The Seahawks had two first-round picks and nailed both of them, taking tackle Russell Okung and safety Earl Thomas. Both are good starters. They also got starting safety Kam Chancellor in the fourth round and backups in receiver Golden Tate tight end Anthony McCoy and corner Walter Thurmond. This is the draft that played a big part in Seattle being a playoff team last season.

How I did: My best pick was Tate in the second round, and he has been just OK. I questioned the decision to take Thomas in the first, but only because I thought the value would be more at defensive end. My third-day gem was Thurman.

Just citing why a C+ sounds about right

Picking at 8-8 slot is a big a problem for us. Teams like New England and Baltimore uncover gems late. Something we have not been able to do very well

A "C" is about right. They got two starters out of a draft which is the average of what you want plus some depth/role players so a C fits.

Wow, Eagles really messed up. 13 draft picks and none of them are projected as starters.

Philadelphia Eagles
2010 Grade: A+

The skinny: The Eagles had 13 picks. Of those 13, none are projected as starters and seven are with the team as reserves. Some of those have started in the past, but are not expected to do so this season. First-round pick Brandon Graham did flash finally late last season, but he is expected to be a backup on the defensive front this season. Second-round pick Nate Allen has been a disappointment at safety and third-round defensive end Daniel Te'o-Nesheim is now in Tampa.

How I did: I loved the pick of Graham, and injuries limited him early before he started to play well late last season. I questioned the decision to trade Donovan McNabb, but they were right. My third-day gem was fifth-round pick Ricky Sapp, but he never was able to recover from a college knee surgery.

Lee can't finish a season so he gets docked.

Inconsistent is right. Prisco gave the Giants a good grade. JPP is really good, slipped last year. But Joseph? Hardly heard of him making noise. They deserve a C.
