From my first post on the subject, I was wanting to offer a couple of players, our 1 (which is a swap) and next years 2. The players were Terrell Owens and Greg Ellis.

More than likely, the teams wouldn't go for it, but if they did, pull the trigger.

No where in my post did I say to trade 2 number 1s. But I did say if they decided to do that, you would only be missing a next years 1. This years one would obviously be a swap.

I understand you there and it makes sense. I don't have a problem with replacing two decent guys with one all world guy.

My problem is that I wouldn't do it for a WR on a team with Glenn and TO starting. I'd have to get a superb pass rusher. I'm not even sure I'd take a 'shut down' corner. I'm sure that exists anymore with the new rules favoring WRs over CBs.

But I don't have a problem with taking Johnson for two number ones. Chances are you would not get two true playmakers just two decent starters.
