I'd just like to reply to the fact that I don't think people understand what adding Terrell Owens really does to our offense.
I mean please look at what happened to the Eagles, 49ers, and Vikings respectivively without T.O. or Randy Moss. All the teams were offensive powerhouses, and none of them really even had a talent at running back like Julius Jones.
The attention that you have to pay to the passing game because of a threat like Owens or Moss forces you to lay off the running game. Which is going to send Julius Jones to where we want him to be. If he stays healthy and our offensive lines stays healthy, we should have at least 1 offensive line pro bowler if not two. And possibly a pro bowl birth for Jones.
Kevan Barlow went from 1024 yards with T.O. to 822 yards to 581 yards. San Fran went from 5th in rushingin 2003 to 30th in 2004.
Last year the Vikings were ranked 27th in rushing yards with 1467 yards rushing for the year. compared to the previous year with 1823 yards rushing (with an INJURED MOSS), 2343 the year before that.
A rushing games best friend is a passing game...
