Ehh, well I think this is just were we have to agree to disagree. I still think he will touch it many, many times and his YPC will go up because Saunders knows how to run the ball. (Priest and LJ) Because of the new targets and system, Brunell will throw it more probably but will have a higher completion %. I think the big thing about the offense is more efficiency.

You have no where near the line that KC had.

You guys won't need to worry about a WR whining about getting enough balls because with the money the stole they can buy themselves enough balls. :laugh2:

see the thing is you are acting as a homer, you think that clinton portis is almighty, im sorry but he only posts such good #s because he gets the ball so ******** much. understand that portis is bound to bounce back from his 1500 yards since he wont get the ball nearly as much. and your new weapons arent all to great Lloyd and Randle El arent anything special, they wont open up to much field for portis to run on. like i said before 1200-1300 yards max and maybe 10 TDs.

I doubt Jones will make it, I have a feeling he'll split pretty seriously with Barber this year, I'd say put Flozell on their and call it a day.

Actually I was agreeing I was just stating your WR won't demand the ball because they already got their money. I know Gibbs will stay with the tried and true counter trey and run portis into the ground. I was just still harping on how you over paid for 2 receivers that may see 35-40 catches all year. Man you must be Skins fan from DC, because I am in DC and they all are that sensitive about their wideouts.

I'm personally think Jones will not make the Pro-bowl. He's still to complete an entire season without getting injured, and we'll see how he ''pans'' out this year. I'm wishing for the best on our RB.

I hope we have a nice consistent combo between Jones/Barber.

Well I am showing myself in a wellmannered way while some of your bretheren are treating me with little or no respect.

I think everyone has a little homerism in their posts but at least people should back it up. Im not just saying "portis gun get 2000 and thats it". I at least had some reasoning, while the best I can get is "your line isnt as good" and "your WRs are paid too much".

I dont care if people think Im a dumb skin's fan (which of course many of you think anyway), but at least treat me as an individual with some decency.

Here are my early Pro Bowl predictions for the Cowboys this year:

Offense:
Jason Witten (starter)
Terrell Owens (starter)
Drew Bledsoe (alternate)
Julius Jones (alternate)

Defense:
Roy Williams (starter)
Terence Newman (starter)
DeMarcus Ware (alternate)
If Julius Jones makes it, then atleast one of your linemen probably will.

well by quoting me you kinda disprove your point of us treating you badly :D. you might wanna quote the people who post the dog pissing on the skins helmet. but i agree with them your receivers are overpayed, your line is over-rated (Still better than ours, but overrated) and your opinion on Portis being the 2nd best back in the NFC is quite HOMERISH!!!! ive yet to be wowed by Portis to the point that he can be a top 3 back in the NFC, im more scared of Tiki Barber than i am of Portis. Portis behind a better line that Barber and with more carries still puts up the same #s. im sorry but Portis is over-rated and doesnt deserve to be a top3 back in the NFC by any standards. he just doesnt wow me all to much.

I'd just like to reply to the fact that I don't think people understand what adding Terrell Owens really does to our offense.

I mean please look at what happened to the Eagles, 49ers, and Vikings respectivively without T.O. or Randy Moss. All the teams were offensive powerhouses, and none of them really even had a talent at running back like Julius Jones.

The attention that you have to pay to the passing game because of a threat like Owens or Moss forces you to lay off the running game. Which is going to send Julius Jones to where we want him to be. If he stays healthy and our offensive lines stays healthy, we should have at least 1 offensive line pro bowler if not two. And possibly a pro bowl birth for Jones.

Kevan Barlow went from 1024 yards with T.O. to 822 yards to 581 yards. San Fran went from 5th in rushingin 2003 to 30th in 2004.

Last year the Vikings were ranked 27th in rushing yards with 1467 yards rushing for the year. compared to the previous year with 1823 yards rushing (with an INJURED MOSS), 2343 the year before that.

A rushing games best friend is a passing game...

For other examples please see Chicago, Green Bay, Buffalo, Washington, Tampa Bay...

In addition Terry Glenn is probably going to have a pro bowl season as well. As is Drew Bledsoe. And with our 3-4 in its second year we could see DeMarcus Ware in the pro bowl, Terence Newman in the pro bowl, Anthony Henry in the pro bowl... I would say any player on our defense next year with the obvious questionmarks at FS and SOLB could potentially make the pro bowl, with the unlikelihood of Ayodele and Ferguson.

welcome to 1993...

I'm not saying that our team is the best at every position. I'm just saying stats wise and reputation wise we have a lot of players who will demand pro bowl titles.

And when you add someone like Terrell Owens to your offense, he brings near pro bowl players to the pro bowl with him. Terry Glenn would have gone to the pro bowl last year had our offense been able to continue passing. Same can be said for Bledsoe.

And the fact that our team simply could not run block, I don't want to count out Julius Jones either. Cause with the addition of T.O. Jones is going to have much larger holes to run through. And if we finish in the top 10 in both passing and rushing which we will... we're going to have a linemen or two in the pro bowl. Both Adams and Rivera could go to the pro bowl. Allen has been doing it on reputation alone for the last 4 or 5 years =/.

I really don't think you guys know what T.O. being on our team means...

And as for the defense had A-Hen not been injured he was a sure fire pro bowler last year, and probably would have taken Newman with him. So that is A-Hen, T-New and Roy Williams...

DeMarcus Ware is in his 2nd year, having 8 sacks his first year. It isn't hard to believe he is going to break through the wall he was pounding on last year. He could definitely be a pro bowler this year. The fact is I wouldn't count out a single player on this defense considering its going to be the 2nd year playing in the 3-4. Everyone is simply more experienced than they were last year. Especially the rookies who are so vital to pulling off said 3-4. If we can get another edge rusher, we'll have a top 5 defense easily.

I forgot all about Vanderjadt. He should be a shoe in on name alone, if he doesn't miss any gimmes and makes at least one game winner.
