Manning has a great deal of issue with his mechanics IMO. I don't contest that. In fact, I'd say that's a major reason for his lack of consistancy at this point in his career. However, you can't confuse bad mechanics with ability. The talent is there. It's just not being used in a disciplined manner right now.

Cooley is, however, among the top five NFC tight ends in dropped passes.

That would have been true last year but not this year. Cooley has been used as a true tightend and not as a HB. We've only given him 1 or 2 screen passes all season. He has dropped a few passes but hes still having the second best season out of any TE's in the NFC.

Sean Taylor hasn't made it in for a good season, why would anyone vote him in during a bad one? it's not like he's making any sort of head-turning plays, or is his team winning very many games
