Tomorrow are some big pro days with guys that we want in Dallas or like Chase, we want to know how high he’ll go. It’ll be interesting to see how they do.

Florida - Kyle Pitts TE
LSU - Jamar Chase WR, Jabril Cox LB
Notre Dame - Jeremiah Owusu-Karamoah LB
Kentucky - Jamin Davis LB
Wake Forest - Carlos Basham DE

On the NFL Network, they just interviewed Jamin Davis. He seems to really have a good head on his shoulders, which is always nice to know. If he tests as well athletically as I think he will, he’s going to get drafted pretty high.

Of course, it’ll be good to see how Pitts tests but we won’t see his real strengths which is contested catches and playing football in general. He should test well but what makes him so valuable is just how good he is at playing football.

JOK should test extremely well. If he does I can’t see him slipping past the Las Vegas Raiders.

Chase, like Pitts, will test well but as a player the whole is greater than the sum of his parts. He’s a really good player.

And Basham is a better player than he will probably test. He’s a handful for OL’s.

If anyone thinks of someone else we need to watch tomorrow, just put them here.

Basham is a freak and I expect him to test well. I think he'll put up big bench #s and run well. Wake even had him running down on kickoff coverage. I've had him as my round 2 pick for most of the season but he's a guy I could see slipping into the first.

Maybe so. I haven’t been expecting him to do that well (except for strength) but you might be right.

On Kyle Pitts one coach who has been doing it for 30 years told the reporter from the NFL Network that he tracks the ball in the air better than anyone he’s ever seen.

That is one of the things he does that makes him so difficult for defenses.

DJ on Chase: “He plays the game with a similar mentality to Anquan Bolden. Built kind of alike he’s just a lot faster.”

Chase is very, very smooth running routes and catching the ball. Looks so easy and natural for him.

Jane Slater just said that GM’s and personnel guys only speak more highly of Trevor Lawrence than they do Chase. She said that they all absolutely love Chase.

Daniel Jeremiah: “Chase plays with the anger of Steve Smith Jr.”

That is very high praise.
