Pretty sure if they would he could be traded. Other teams have traded high price qbs. Wentz/stafford etc. probably after failing next year they might consider it. Saints need a qb and don’t have a 1st. They helped eagles with dumb trades - They might trade for Dak?

The financials of a trade really isn’t a huge deal. Problem is he has a no trade clause and straight releasing him is completely meaningless.

The title to your OP alone says enough truth to answer itself unfortunately.

The Cowboys can restructure Dak and save $22 million of cap space. They can cut Zeke and add another $10.9 million.

So I would do that, load up for a run, and judge Dak's long term future here based on 2023. Because last year all they did was subtract in the offseason.

Cowboys Report from Chat Sports on YouTube reported these numbers yesterday. Because cutting Dak at this point is impossible given his contract.

They did the most stupid contract possible so even if they wanted to they can’t.

Dak’s getting paid by the Cowboys next year to do the same thing he did this year.

So if they trade dak are you giving Jerry some of that 90 mil this yr in dead money? Or 40 mil in 2024?

I like the moves. Dak is here Until we have a better QB. This is not a time to start over. This team is a player a few players.

Has Jerry made any smart trades in recent years where he took advantage of a player's value?
We seem to wait until the downslope of a player's career and unload them for nothing.

Daks contract got out of hand because of the guarantee for injury players get in there contract. When he got hurt his base for 2023 got guaranteed.
