They did the most stupid contract possible so even if they wanted to they can’t.

Dak’s getting paid by the Cowboys next year to do the same thing he did this year.
Take us to the 2nd round and 1/4 from beating the best team in the NFL?

Ill take my chances like that again.

And your solution is what? To bring in Andy Dalton?

I like the moves. Dak is here Until we have a better QB. This is not a time to start over. This team is a player a few players.
Exactly. Losing again in the playoffs hurt but you don't blow up a team that has gone 24-10 since 2021. That's just insanity.

Amazing all the laughable suggestions after a tough loss to a team like the Niners. All sense of reason goes out the window.

Now if we had the 2nd pick in the draft and someone wanted to give us 2 firsts, 2nds and a 3rd then by all means go ahead.

Not win a championship.

Being locked into mediocrity is what I said this contract would do and it’s what it’s done.

3 of the 4 remaining QBs are on Rookie deals. The other is possibly the most talented QB in NFL history.

The solution was to do what I said and let Dak walk. I even suggested Brady while he was still in New England.

But here we are. Trying to figure out a way to win in spite of our QB.

You can't get rid of him now. The only thing you could do which a smart GM would do is draft a QB in the first round even if you want to trade up for one. Sit him behind Dak or have a open competition for the job. You let Dak walks in two years you have your future starting or he beats out Dak for the job in year 1 or 2.

So 12-5 two years running and playoffs is mediocrity? Getting into the 2nd round this year as well.

My god man you dont even know what the word mediocre means. LOL

Cowboys are a top 6 team in the NFL an nearly beat the Niners in SF. Give up if you want. This team is right there.

You want to tank next year to have a shot at Williams?

That's what people said about Jones and Romo. Including the mediots. Then Dak happened. If they think they have a better option, they have shown they will move on from anyone.

"let Dak walk" :lmao::lmao::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2:

Yah, why bother trading him for a boat load of pick?

Suggestion of the year award.

The real problem is the Jones boys won't think about moving on from the Jones boys. doesn't matter which qb you bring in here. They are just going to scale down to 2nd round mediocrity. If we had patrick mahomes, we'd have let even more talent walk and we'd probably still have mike nolan because mahomes would be carrying the team just enough to save everyone their jobs but not good enough to get past the 2nd round of the playoffs

So draft a QB in the first round when you have holes at running back, wide receiver, cornerback, and interior defensive line? Why do you believe you have your future starter in two years? Do you not remember the years in between Aikman and Romo? Do you want to trust the guys who wanted Connor Cook instead? Paxton Lynch? Yall have these scenarios playing out in your head and forget how things normally pan out in real life. How about giving Dak the weapons he needs because he's not the guy to elevate lesser talented players.

Cowboys Report from Chat Sports on YouTube reported these numbers yesterday. Because cutting Dak at this point is impossible given his contract.
I agree that cutting him is definitively impossible but I don’t think their numbers are accurate.

No offense.
