From Cowboy Air America, the 50,000-watt source of truth and the American way (except the bombings, of course) from Farmers Branch where we is happy the way we are and don't like newcomers.

As of last night, there was no progress in contract talks with cornerback Asante Samuel and tight end Daniel Graham, two of the Patriots' top players scheduled for unrestricted free agency, according to their agents.

C'mon, Jerra, dig into your bottomless pocket of money and git this Samuel guy. I saw him play this season and he was active and aggressive. Samuel could upgrade the lowly Henry. (duh!)

Imagine, Newman and Samuel starting for us!!!

Outstanding!

Its going to cost way too much to bring in a guy like Samuel. They need to spend that money on the Offensive and Defensive Line in my opinion.

Reminds me of a sign that used to be outside this little town in Georgia.

"Welcome to Clayton Georgia. If you ain't family, you ain't welcome. Keep on driving."

I kid you not.

So why are you injecting your political views onto a football board?...

Relax, nothing personal.
But let's get back to football.
Samuels or Henry . . .

Yep, Jerra will have to dig deep.
Quality always costs a lot.
I am hoping that with money saved from the soon to be departed Ellis, Bledsoe and some deadwood in the O line he just might have enough to sign this quality player.
If not, then get used to Henry being picked on all next season.:(

Would you rather pay $7.9 million a year for Flozell Adams or Samuel?

If franchised by NE, Samuel would cost 7.7 - approximately.
Adams' base salary and pro-rated bonus equaled 7.9 last season.

Just ask yourself - can you afford it?

I think both should be considered over paying. In the meantime Dallas has to upgrade this OL once and for all. We have no true big time players on the line we have some decent guy but your not going to get to the top with decent at one of the most critical areas on a team the Offensive Line.

First and foremost. Your offensive line is far more important than a CB. If the best CB and the best OT were out on the market both asking for $7M a year and all I had was $7M. I take the OT everytime.

Maybe Jerra will actually cut deadwood so we can have both: a credible O line and that Samuels fella.
