What I said a couple of days ago.Prescott must produce some playoff success in 2023, or he risks losing favor even with his more staunch supporters.
I think that's totally fair...he's got a fairly wide range from 5 ish to 15ish ...but I'd say he's at least above average.I have Dak ranked up around 12. Goff should be added to this list ahead of Dak. Dak needs to slide down with Cousins.
I like the renewed respect for both the Dallas offense and Dak Prescott, both...still a positive. What I said a couple of days ago.
At the end of the day, rankings really don't matter any more than power polls do. Just something to discuss and debate.
Did you elevate your team to wins in the playoffs or were you the main reason for yet another loss. That's where we are at with Dak.
Is he a top 10 QB? Probably is. Just something to discuss and debate while we wait until the playoffs.
Dak isn't 25 anymore. He's missed plenty of games so just no.He is one of the better QBs playing now. It’s a team game. A little more of him rolling out and or taking off with it and less forcing the pass. Balanced playcalling helps. He don’t need to be a running QB just the threat. When the big hole is there then take it and slide.
It's really the top 4 guys that stand out and then a lot of question marks and aging QBs following that. What this really indicates is the dearth of quality QBs in the NFL. What you got, Mahomes and Burrow?
Funny how simple minds work (especially in this fan base) but a renewed OL and improved WR corps will have everyone salivating over Dak's stats soon enough.I like the renewed respect for both the Dallas offense and Dak Prescott, both...still a positive.
Anyone saying Dak is not top 10 cannot be taken seriously. It's really the top 4 guys that stand out and then a lot of question marks and aging QBs following that.
So when someone says "Dak is not top 10" I just don't understand that perspective. It's a fluid heap of guys from 5-15.
I am not talking about 2016 and on Dak. I see plenty of plays he could tuck and run it for 5-7 yards and get down. That threat makes defenses have fits. Dak still has designed runs in the red zone. He just needs that threat back in his bag of tricks. The last int in the 49ers playoff game should have been a tuck and run. He is smart enough to know when. He is a gamer. He tore the bucs up the week before.Dak isn't 25 anymore. He's missed plenty of games so just no.
He should continue to pick his spots but largely save running for the playoffs.
The only area he needs to improve upon from last season is not forcing the ball to bad players even if those players are good when healthy.
He is going to have a monster season if he himself can stay healthy.
Not to mention that there are new QBs entering the league every year so top ten to start the year doesn’t mean you won’t just drop out of that by the end of the season. Also yes, the top 4 guys lead the pack as QBs that are difference makers and after that it’s a massive drop offIt's really the top 4 guys that stand out and then a lot of question marks and aging QBs following that.
