I swear, these articles right before the draft read like they're a poor attempt at one of those cryptocurrency pump and dump schemes.

"John, how are ya?! So uh, we saw that you guys could use a corner and, uh, we really like a guy there at 52, and uh, have you looked at dallascowboys.com recently? Yeah, Joseph, that's right. He's uh, really trending up and... John? You there?"

Like, who actually reads that stuff and believes he's going to be on the roster? Is this just early marketing for the jersey clearance sale?

Very doubtful. He would of screwed up the next game. Dude sucks. At this point even if he improves there will always be many that do not trust him.
OK, ignore the fact he was clutch when we most needed a play from someone.

I won't.

Doubt his coach will either.

I'm fine w him playing gunner and backup CB.

And would have...would of makes no sense.

Kelvin Joseph is destined to go the way of many before him who have been cut from this team.

He'll either shape up or be cut -- it's up to him. It's high time for KJ to face the music and dance.

So you think that one play is a sign he is starting to get it and playing better?

He has way too many bad plays to think it was anything other than random luck he was in position to make a play.

No doubt the coaches feel the same. He has a huge uphill battle to get a second contract. I think it is very possible he gets cut this year.

Joseph may not have the head for all the different coverages and techniques, but it could just be that he's struggling because he hasn't had much playing time in college and now the nfl. Talent wise he has what it takes to be a star in the league.

Cowboys wanted Tyson Campbell but the Jags got him early in the 2nd. He struggled as a rookie but he still played because they weren't a good team and then last season he was really good.

I was a fan when they drafted him, but the one thing we cannot see when we research college players is the mental ability. Joseph has ability. That much is clear. He can get on WRs and stay there - until the ball is in the air. Then his game falls apart. This is 100% mental. It is not uncommon to see this in rookies. But what you want to see is improvement. I am still waiting for Joseph to show he understands how to play the position. Maybe preseason this year he can get a lot of experience and confidence playing about backups but even then he will be a backup. The thing is, you'd like to get him functioning at a higher level in case of injuries. If they can't then he will either stay and play special teams or he will be on the streets this year or next. If the Cowboys draft a CB early, that is a bad sign for Joseph and Wright.

He’s too talented to not be a legit corner in this league.

Dude should be no worse than a solid #2 corner for someone.

His problem is obvious. He’s doesn’t carry himself like a professional. Dude needs to mature. Clear as day.
Are you his agent? KJ sucks and isn't getting better. They should have cut him last season!

Gilmore will keep this boy on the bench where he belongs. And later on during the season when we have a need at a different position and use free agency to fill it, KJ will be an easy cut to make room on the roster.

He has 2 years left on his rookie deal. He needs to do more than play special teams. This is year 3 and time for him to step up and show if he can play CB or not. Seems his problem is from the neck up. Hopefully he will figure it out and the light will finally come on. He has the the talent.
Some guys just are what they are. Special teams might be his ceiling.

He has to challenge Gilmore in order to stay?
does he want a job in Dallas?

Hes gotta Challenge him.....Or be good enough to take the Job outright from Bland

Like i said i Love him on special teams i think hes one of the best gunners in the league but hes a 2nd round pick and 2nd rounders these days are expected to start and fairly soon

I disagree with his talent level and IMO he has not shown anything of significance in the NFL.
