SMH I can't & I won't....let me get my fustrations together. We (Cowboys) has to be the only organization that will pick a player that wasn't even giving a combine invite with players that are coveted still on the board. Dorance Armstrong Jr. Sound like a boxer more than a football player SMH. They constantly do this& I'm sure there going to be posters who will tell you Armstrong is going to be some gem& make dozens of pro bowls. The 1st pick is indicative of our flawed football philosophy. We would rather pick a Barbie Carpenter 2 Clone who only have one year of production against competition that u may see@ ur local high school.& Try & say how better this player is more than a player from the Championship winning team in the strongest conference in football, with more production than our targeted player. It's downright sickening. Yeah I'm sure I will be labeled all kinds of unpleasant things but can anybody point out where our philosophies work out@. When have they ever been successful.
The constant purging of Defensive line Talent from 6th,7th round & undrafted players yields what results? SMH. A guy who is deemed as not physical & doesn't have physicality to his game is somehow better than a LB that known for his physicality, I just don't get it & I wonder why they get the benefit of the doubt as if their philosophy is successful & a model to follow.smh....theres a reason for our futility for over 23 years& counting & it's because of our Football philosophies. Under no circumstance should u pick LVE over Rashad Evans unless there'sother agendas that need to be filled that doesn't consist of winning & fielding the best team u can. It's not about that in Dallas, winning is not Paramount in this organization. It's Politics & how things look & are perceived. You think I'm crazy, look @ last year's debacle & say u can rule out what I'm saying & further more evidence is the 2018 drafting of LVE, that pick is definitely not about fielding the best team, it's about fielding other things that Jerry, Stephen & the Cowboys brass wants to be fielded. Silly of yall to think that somehow football is first...yeah right

Right, I definitely feel u & understand where u coming from..the thread title should have said " regressive" not recessive & its just frustration of a organization that continues to do the not " progressive" thing& it baffles me..my fault man I was initially speaking on the drafting of a another DE with all the DT's that were available but then I went off on a tangent & it doesn't make for great reading this I know but I was just being brutally honest@ that time. & I'm going to be honest now. I think the giants & the skins have had a better draft than us & I don't think it's close.

Im not good@that Tex-bum, @ times I just start from the top& I continue until I'm finished. It's like im talking to you. Nah champ, definitely not that. Just fearful that the competition is gaining on us& it terrifies me. We went 5-1 in our division & didn't make the playoffs, let that sink in for u. 5-1....in 14 we were undefeated on the road...what exactly did we win?! So what happens when we don't have those numbers in our favor. I'm just concerned that those numbers won't last forever & don't have nothing to show for when they were great.

no I think u maybe the joke Jackson's dad;'-) & I'm not telling you to discredit him. Since u didn't finish reading,let me sum it up my friend. I said the players name sounded more like a boxers name than a football name & usually for the most part that spells out a terrible player & terrible maybe too harsh for this crowd so I will say less than adequate player. A player who won't even make our practice squad is somebody we took with defensive talent still on the board. That's not too difficult is it jaxsun.....all u have to do is read daddyjacks, you don't have to insult someone because u don't comprehend. That's being ignorant & u wouldn't wa.........on second thought maybe u do so let me shut up:;'-))

Wow such a declaration. Thanks for the congrats tho& Lord willing he may:;'-) I'm not trashing him although I don't think he makes the 53& I don't think he's good. That's not because of his name although the name doesn't help. I trashed the decision to draft another de when you already have six to seven DE's on your team already and your major weakness was DT. I'm from Harker heights Texadus, my parents live in Dallas, my sister lives in Dallas, my grandfather lives in Houston, my older brother lives in Houston, my younger brother lives in Austin along with my cousins & nephews. I live in Washington DC for the last 20 years so u got the wrong one kinfolk. & This is a Cowboys forum & if u wanna turn in ur literature homework u go ahead partner but my advice is don't be hypocritical because if I was like you I would tell u to learn to spell "Learn" correctly before u bark out orders on grammatical errors. Been watching film since the Christmas break@ my place of work.
Yes I actually do get paid for my opinion & knowledge I have for the Cowboys along with my connections. Put it like this Michael Irving has told me in my ear, while tapping me in my chest repeatedly about this organization & their dealings & business practices. There's things I Kno that if I say can be let's say monumental or influential on the Cowboys organization. I don't think you know who u typing to young fella:;'-)
