Project Runway judges says adults shouldn't wear Crocs

i own about 5 pairs of those shoes including a pair that look like flats that i got in denver 4 years ago. i love them.

these shoes are the most comfortable shoes out there, & when i'm not in the mood to wear my sketchers sneakers, i'll slip on a pair of crocs. i love them.

i agree with you there. they just don't get it. there are those out there that wear them because of foot problems(injuries or illness like diabetes)or for work. my husband works as a nurse's assistant at a nursing home & some of his coworkers wear crocs.

Well I have never watched, nor heard of, Project runway.

However I hate seeing people wearing crocs and would not be caught dead in them...or alive for that matter.

They look ugly and like something a little girl would wear. So in that respect I would agree with whoever said that adults should not wear them as far as fashion is concerned.

With that said, if people find them comfortable so be it, they have to wear them and they are not hurting me by wearing them. It is not a case of someone wearing loose fitting pants and having their butt cracks exposed or anything of that nature so I say...wear what you like and don't worry about what other people think.

I will just leave this little idea for some of you ladies that wear crocs or sandals out in public.

Think of some perverts out there that might have a foot fetish. Think of these guys seeing your feet in crocks or sandals. It would be like walking around topless and a regular guy seeing you topless...but these perverts are getting a free show seeing your feet.

Crocs are pretty fashion backwards.

But I'm a dude who wears flip flops basically all the time, even in freezing weather, so there's that. In fact, I more more less dress the same all the time... button-up shirt (sometimes just a white tee shirt, in the summer), straight-leg slim fit jeans, and flip flops. I'll wear a jacket in the winter.

So I guess I'm saying just wear whatever you think fits your style.

heh. I know you're joking, but...

I'm sure there are a lot of people whose personal style, if left up to them alone, would be quite objectionable (living in NY, this part is all truism). The only point is whether you're willing to live with people's reaction to it.

If you choose to wear crocs, you will be considered unfashionable. But if you don't care that it makes you look unfashionable, as I'm sure many don't, then go ahead and wear whatever makes you happy.
