Proposal: Commanders new name....

Alright, alright...at least some folks are calling for the Washington @!#SDFS! to be renamed (legitimately or not, that is not the concern of this post)...so...

in all seriousness: if they were to be renamed, what would you suggest? A legitimate NFL name for a (not really, but sorta) legitimate team.

In other words, you have the opportunity to rename the Cowboys' most hated (arguably) rival. What name would you hand to Roger Goodell that actually would have a chance of being accepted?

Maybe the Washington Generals (USFL right?), or the Washington Specifics (OK, couldnt help it...)

but seriously, folks, what would it be?

I've actually had this debate before.

I've always been fond of renaming them the Rainbow Warriors.

Warrior denotes a tough football mentality, and Rainbow pays homage to the district's proud DuPont Circle neighborhood.

Maybe something like this for the helmets:
