Didn't see anyone mention it but the guy had the second longest punt in Cowboys History with a 75 yard punt to pin the Texans at the 2 yard line. If I'm not mistaken, I think he is now averaging over 50 yards per punt on the year.

Way to go you Aussie. :D

I still haven't gotten over the snap that slipped right through his hands. That may have been what cost us the game last week.

I think we can forgive him for that mistake because McBriar has just been phenomenal all season. We lost for a lot of reasons last week. The missed snap was just one of them.

If Matt McBriar doesn't make the pro bowl this year......:(

He was actually averaging 50.7 before this game, with a 40.9 net.

Today he averaged 56.8 with two inside the 20.

Incredible.

that mistake from last week still stings but he has been great in every other game and has been a very pleasant surprise

The dropped snap vs Philly should be filed under "**** happens." Even when it happened I said that. Good teams overcome that kind of mistake. We didn't get it done vs Philly for a VARIETY of reasons.

People- what do you expect? A 16-0 perfect season and a + 40 turnover margin? Zero points allowed? Let's be realistic please. That turnover of McBriar's was on the OPENING drive. He has been spectacular all year asides from that one play.

If you want to get on Bledsoe I'm all for that, because frankly his play has been well below sea-level all year. But Mat? One bad play does not a season make.

I've been saying McBriar has been our best player for the last three years. He's helping the defense out a lot this year and giving them any help goes a long way.

As for the missed snap last week, if the first drive determines a game, we would have lost yesterday too. Can't blame one play in the first quarter. It happens. It was their Super Bowl at their house, biggest game of their year. If it happens on Christmas, then we say something.
