I honestly believe T.O. will not play this year. Do you think he has bi-polar disease? I mean, he is really on the edge at times.......

You can have a player sit, but I don't think you can suspend them without pay. His contract is guaranteed at the beginning of the season.

I heard on a radio talk show that the Eagles have said today that TO will either play under his current contract or sit. They will not trade him, which is what I think he is doing all this for. What he doesn't realize is that his antics are making him less and less valuable to other teams.

If the Eagles stick to their guns on this, I have to respect them (as much as that hurts to say).

I am sure teams are knocking down the Fecal's door with offers. Probably one of the best, but who would want the trouble. If I were the Eagles, I'd let him set, fine him, not pay him. They are not that strapped under the cap they can't afford to. They restructure his contract things are only going to get worse in Philly down the road. No matter what happens i am enjoying the way their camp is going. I just read Brown is hurt too, I love it.

ESPN was saying earlier today that the 49'ers only had offers from two teams for him.....the Ravens and Eagles. They also said that alot of other teams aren't feeling bad for them because they got the player that they wanted and now they have their bed and they have to sleep in it.

I honestly think that alot of other teams would NOT want him just because of what is going on right now.

"I'm the one being disrespected...."

Last I looked, he was just an EMPLOYEE. Nothing more than that.

It's obvious that they guy never has had a "real" job.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Reid like it or not is one of his bosses. All of the people defending TO forget this is an employer employee relationship. You don't see people defending TO here but I am sure getting tired of hearing it on the radio. All of the players complain about the system that a team can cut you without warning and you continue to hear them whine about it. Funny the NFL is more like the real world than any other sport. If your pay doesn't justify your production you can look for work elsewhere or take a pay cut.

They can release him because the cap hit will be negligible.

His contract is structured in such a way that it would be somewhere around $2 million hit. Everything else is roster bonuses that I don't believe are pro-rated.

The Eagles saw this day coming when they signed him and crafted the contract accordingly. The only thing they did wrong is not have any depth at WR. THAT is why they can't release him.

He is acting just like a 3 year old kid who wants his way and is pitching a tantrum and needs his butt torn up with a belt.

My only real fear is that they'll sign Peter Warrick. Right now, their starts at wide receiver are Greg Lewis (small, originally a rookie free agent) and Billy McMullen (inactive most games until now).

Here's what happened (it is quite childish) - from PTI:

Andy told TO he needed to sign autographs. TO mouthed off. Andy said to Shutup. TO got pissed and told Andy to shutup. TO said don't disrespect me. There were kids around and fans so Andy didn't want to get shown up so he told him

The offensive coordinator knows TO isn't talking so he is constantly antoagonizing him saying 'hello TO'. TO said don't talk to me unless I talk to you.

TO says DMcNabb is a hypocrite and doesn't care to talk to him. TO wants to play football somewhere.

That's kinda funny.

Childress busting his chops, just by saying "hello". :)

I think Warrick is a talent who was stuck with a few very bad quarterbacks. I have a bad feeling that if he ends up in Philadelphia he's going to have a breakout season.

just dont see the "talent" your speaking of...not fast...not big, not great hands...not much of a route runner...barely averages 10 yds a reception(decent TE number)

like I said...bust

Let them have Warrick, it's better then covering TO. Warrick does not scare me one bit. Has he ever had a 1,000 yard season? Warrick is not as tall or fast as Owens, the guy averages around 11 yards a catch. Newman should be able to shut this guy out...

I think Nate Jones or Bruce Thornton could handle Warrick

I flipped on to espn when they were finishing up an interview with these two dipchats, did anybody catch it and if they did was there anything worth noting?

So, PTI featured two PITA's??

How appropriate...

TO basically said that while Reid was telling him that he had to do the autograph's, Reid at one point told him to "shut-up" and he took great offence to that. He said that he's not TO's parent and therefore can't disrespect him like that.

He also said Childress (Eagles OC) was constantly making witty comments at him and he finally at one point told him to not say anything to him if TO didn't say anything to him first. He made it clear that this had nothing to do with football, it was things that were being said off the field.

That was the jist of it.

Mom!!! He's TOUCHING me!!!

Somebody needs to grow up... and yes, he badly needs to shut up, too... "you're not my parent, you can't talk to me that way"... this coming from a supposedly grown-up human being...
