NE still had WR's, they weren't your household big contract stars. But they had a WR corps of very good players and TE's.

Yes, every team has WRs. What I am saying is, in NE, it's about their scheme, and finding out where the players can play, not trying to fit a player where they don't belong.

I hate when a team trades down to target a player. There are 31 other teams that can jump in and get that player. If you really like a player don't get cute. Frederick is a example.

We traded down and got the beard tho....

I wonder if NE felt this way when Cassell took over for Brady a few years back, with no WRs? It is 100% scheme, imo.

you must be kidding! players play the game not coaches put them in a position
to win but its the players

Hmmm, since Witten was drafted, Dallas has taken 3, TEs in the 2nd rd. One has been fairly successful and the other pretty successful, I think Escobar has a lot of talent. I think that says a lot.

Please. So many other teams have done so much more with less at the QB position than we have.

We've drafted RBs, CBs, TEs, OTs, OGs, Cs, LBs, WRs, etc... zero NFC championship games, zero Super Bowl appearances. It's time to draft a QB, first round.
