He was actually a TEs coach under Garrett.

McCarthy put him in his current role because he's coached QBs his entire career.

Good. Either way we are stuck with Dak.. I don’t have much confidence in the guy after I saw that gutless playoff game last week. They do need to change the offense up tho. Zeke has to go also.

What do you expect? Unless McCarthy gets an extension, he's on the hot seat for 2023. Who of any quality would want to attach themselves to that? It's like when Rich Bisaccia left for the Raiders, and the Cowboys hired Keith O'Quinn as ST coach - Garrett was not extended, and no one of value was going to take the job.

Yeah, but no. McC clearly is going to be in the frame of mind now that he has to put people he trusts up and down the staff. Almost certain to be someone he's had some personal experience with.

Dak’s 2 ints and missing a wide open Gallup for a TD was all the QB coaches fault. Problem is now solved. Time for Dak to shine.
