These combined stats will usually "roughly" tell you who is playing best overall so far (not who is best, but who is playing the best so far)

Combine and average the QBs' rank of the following two categories and tally.
  1. Differential: Total TDs (Passing/Rushing TDs ) - Total Turnovers ....This reduces bus-driving a little bit
  2. Standard NFL Passer Rating

Mahomes wins with Superior Coaching and Defense. Prescott and Romo would have the same results with Reid , Spagnola and the Chiefs defense.

You mean the level in the SB were the Niners gave away the game with a muffed punt at their 16 and a missed extra point that caused the game to go into OT???

Not even close to the same results. Elite isn't replaced by maybe average. Just doesn't work that way.

It’s impossible to say how good Romo and Dak would be though. Reid went to the SB with Donovan McNabb throwing to James Trash and Stinkston. Andy Reid is a greedy football mind.

There is a reason the whole world agrees Mahomes is special though. They would be a good team with a lot of QB's. They wouldn't win they way they have though because he does the combination of things that no other QB can do.
