QB garbage time passing yardage 2025

Once again .... it is a ... made up stat .....
I guess when Dallas had leads in the 2nd half and especially the 4th quarter, all of Emmitt's yards were garbage time stats as they ran out the clock?

Guess what?
ALL yards count.
HA! That's exactly what I said in a much longer longer longer post but it's the same for Parsons and DeMarcus Ware getting sacks against weaker teams over when you're in obvious passing when you're ahead... Or say they put in a backup quarterback because the game's too far out now your guys got a couple interceptions for his stats I mean come on this is is a dumb stat because it's the whole entire team benefits from this this is not a quarterback stat this is just how games go and This is why you only should concentrate on one thing whatever their stats are over 17 games it was built in a very similar manner because all teams play weak teams average teams and a handful of good teams and they usually struggle against those good or great teams those playoff teams they lose a lot of those games you're playing playoff teams most of those quarterbacks and teams have losing records against the better teams you make your bones and the most your schedule of beating the people you're supposed to along with trying to split against the better teams and that is how you build your staff that's why we just need to look at them as stats and stop trying to pick them apart to win some kind of narrative because you don't like the guy so you gotta pick on him...

As if we need this to hate on Dak.

Dak haters already know he sucks.

This stuff gets posted so we can laugh at Dak fans like yourself with hard proof of things we already know to be true.
How many times do I need to tell you I am not a Dak fan. But I do not hate him, and let it consume my life.
I disregard everything you post anyway, as obviously you cannot comprehend what I post.

Keep in mind the Cowboys starting QB missed 9 games last year.

Misleading , compare, 2023, that will tell diff story. Also , when win loss both shouldnt be taken into count only losses look at it.

Well it's surprising to see that other quarterbacks are awarded "garbage time yards" because the only quarterback I've ever read about having garbage time yards was Dak.
I edited this comment to show you how preposterously STUPID thsi comment is.

This guy right here...thinks Dak critics invented the "garbage time stats" designation.

Of course he doesn't think it...he knows better. But he's gonna pull that card anyway. Agenda must be served at all costs...even truth and shame.

Sure, but when you make those yards matters. We have known for many years that Dak isn't as good as his stat line. Just look at the GB playoff loss. Thats a perfect example. It was 41-16 going into the 4th quarter. Dak orchestrated 2 4th quarter TD drives finishing with 400 yards passing. How meaningless were 200 of those yards?

It doesn't really matter how many times you say you're not a Dak.

You defend him more than Dak fans who admit they are Dak fans do.

You're a Dak over Dallas fan and that's been obvious since I started posting to this site.

There was still plenty of time left. They had to pass to try to mount a comeback, as all teams that are behind do.
Mythical stat.

Absolutely wrong again. See you still did not comprehend my post.
Your hate consumes you. Have fun with that.

Your problem is I do comprehend your Dak love posts.

You rely too much on people not comprehending them and mistaking you as not being a Dak over Dallas fan.

You're not fooling me.

Dak is the king of garbage time stat padding. He likes the soft zones and prevent defenses. I'm fine with it. I just hate that we made him the highest paid player in NFL history based almost exclusively on his stats. Obviously, what's he supposed to do down 41-16? Gotta throw. But if he was any good the first 3 quarters it's a close game.

This proves that some of you love irrelevant stats, more than watching your quarterback, not perform.
I can't blame you.

So like the 3rd highest percentage? That makes sense based on the fact that we had some blowouts last year. Not sure it tells us anything about Dak other than furthering an agenda someone already has though. He stunk last year. No kidding. The team also stunk which was why this stat exists. Again we all knew that already

Just proves what I've known. This site is full of Dak hating blowhards who make up bunk just to demean him.
Dak had the highest % (of those shown) except for Maye who would be doing it more to continue to gain experience as a rookie (on a bad team at that). The next closest was Goff who got garbage yards because his team was so dominant and was blowing out the other time, not because they were being blown out.

It says exactly on the tweet what it is lol…it’s using their definition of garbage time not yours lol….

To me when the game is out of reach it’s garbage time. 30-0 going into the 4th is garbage time. If a person is losing 24-0 and you they bring the game within one score I can’t call them garbage time.
I like my definition better.... lol

What if they applied this same theory to sacks ???
maybe guys with 14 sacks no longer look so good huh?

All stats are flawed.
