The next closest was Goff who got garbage yards because his team was so dominant and was blowing out the other time, not because they were being blown out.

Dak had no team around him last year. Plus, many times, the team fell behind going into the 2nd half, the offense was forced to try to catch up late in games.

Some have got explanations. Others do not. Still can't deny lack of weapons that the other QBs do have.

Garbage time should not be included if your team is up. Reason being is because the other team's defensive starters are likely still in there and still trying to get stops. On the other hand when your team is down the other teams defensive starters are likely resting and just trying to get out of the game so those stats don't tell the whole truth. Dak would probably have lead the league in garbage time stats last year by a wide margin had he not got hurt.
