I don't want to watch Bledsoe blow another game...just to wait and see if he will....trust me...he will!

It's time to see what Romo can do...Bledsoe is making rookie type mistakes, well, why not let the rookie make them instead. At least he has a chance to improve on them rather then do the same thing over and over and over again like an old dog.

If Romo is not the answer then we know what the draft plan is next year.

My biggest fear...ridding Bledsoe...playing ONE playoff game and losing because of him. Then going with Romo the next year and finding out he's not the answer. Then what???

It's Romo time and also draft a QB not matter how well he plays...
Houston, IMO, is the best game possible to let Romo at least have a chance. Give him a drive or two in the 1st qtr...let him earn more playing time in this game. If he does good, give him the 1st half. if he does good, the 3rd qtr, if he does good, the 4th qtr. THEN move on to the Giants game and let him start, BUT keep him aware that the leash is short...

With Bledsoe's bad decision making, I think we have little hope of avoiding a QB controversy this season, might as well deal with it ASAP because the rest of the schedule after Houston looks brutal with the exception of a couple of games:

NYG, @CAR, @WAS, @ARI, IND, TB*, NYG, NO, @ATL, PHI, DET*

JMO: If Quincy was QB of this team, we'd be unbeaten. Did he make mistakes? Oh hell yeah. But only when he was pressed ... not pressured. the Quincy of '04 takes this team to the NFC title game.

For some crazy reason i totally agree with you.Any way u slice it Quincy carter got us to the playoffs at least. If garcia was very good with TO Quincy would have been deadly.

I gotta agree with bigbadroy on this one. Romo making that mistake...ok. But Bledsoe is a veteran, he should know better than that. When he threw it up, I was just happy it got away from everybody and didn't float into the arms of a guy in green.

Mind you, I'm not sold on Romo, but i think he deserves a chance and this game w/ Houston could be the best opportunity. Give him 1 or 2 drives. If that works, 1 QTR. If that works, 1 half. if that works, the game. If that works, against NYG, 1 QTR...keep that leash short.

Romo's no Michael Vick that's for sure. But from what I saw in pre-season, his little bit is better than Bledsoe's next to nothing. Bledsoe has 2 speeds: drop back and sacked. Dallas isn't gonna beat good teams with that. But that's just my 2cents

That tells you how bad things have been in the last decade.

By the way, it was the NFL's number 1 defense that got us into the playoffs. Hell, Parcells wouldn't even let Quincy throw the ball on 3rd and 10 - he was afraid Quincy would screw up things so bad the defense couldn't bail us out.

I wish some of you guys could really listen to yourself or read what you're writing.

You're longing for the days of Quincy FREAKIN Carter!!!!!!!1!!1!!!!!1!!!

I expected a meltdown on the board this week, but this is inexcusable.

It's an unanswerable question.

Perhaps Quincy would have bought a little more time in the pocket and made a few plays.

Perhaps Quincy would have panicked and threw his own INT's.

Perhaps Quincy would have made some plays Bledsoe didn't, and then turn around and screw up some plays that Bledsoe wouldn't have.

Perhaps the famous Quincy Carter "wounded duck flutter ball" would have been picked off 5 times.

The bottom line is that I have no confidence at all that Quincy could have done any better than Bledsoe.

That's exactly where we are.

Bledsoe is very definitely on the hot seat - he has to be feeling pressure to perform now. He's lucky that he gets to play against Houston next week.

Only if he has enough tickets for everyone to get a seat.
