Mark Sanchez: 4 playoff wins... on the road.

Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, Tony Romo, Jay Cutler, Andrew Luck, RG III, Matt Ryan, Matthew Stafford and Cam Newton have combined for 3 road playoff wins.

This factoid should pop up in a javascript window anytime a site member starts babbling about QB wins.

Well Weeden is the 3rd sting QB, unless Orton retires. How good to expect that position to be?

Hopefully having Orton and Weeden doesn't effect our ability to Draft a QB in a very Deep QB Class with up to 12 players worth Drafting at the position.

Its been good week for Dallas without a single snap being played:

1. Eagle will lose DeSean Jackson one-way or another.
2. Eagles sign a horrible back-up QB who needs a dominant defense to look decent (note: Eagles defense is not good).
3. Dallas after 17 years finally comes to realization that signing ageing players to long term deals didn't work for them (over 30+).
4. Dallas goes after Jay Ratliff for pseudo injury claims.
5. Dallas signs Melton.

While yes the defense did play very well, Sanchez, kind of like Eli, upped his game in the playoffs and became very efficient. In 6 career playoff games, he won 4 and had 9 TDs and only 3 picks. Completed 60% of his passes and his rating was above 90. Now yes, some of this was due to him not having to take any chances at all so he could just manage the offense so to say. But it's kind of hard to downgrade a QB that has won 4 career playoff road games at a very young age and went to back to back AFC title games.

9 TD's in 4 games wont win hardly any NFL games these days...14 points just doesnt get you a W in almost any instance.

And yet at what should be his physical prime at age 27, NFL GMs have deemed him to be at best the 33rd best QB in the league. It's hard to downgrade him because there's nowhere left to go down.

Lol I wonder if we had signed Sanchez and the Eagles signed Weeden if the comments wouldn't be different here.

Oh I never said he never regressed. He definitely has since those days of back to back AFC title games. I was just saying he had some part in those playoff wins. He never had a game where he just lost it on his own with tons of turnovers.

Essentially the Eagles and Jets traded QBs, Vick for Sanchez. That's one way you can view the Sanchez deal as a plus.....

Chip apparently loves him some mediocre USC QB's. 1st he wasted a pick on Barkley and now this.

That was because, for some reason, Dallas got a tremendous pass rush on Foles those two games. He doesn't react well to pressure. Not sure why that's the only team that Dallas could get a pass rush going against.

Foles doesn't handle pressure well at all. Pressure him, and he's done. I hope they extend him to another 5 years.
