This is just my opnion but Ted Thompson is a bumbling fool.

Brett Favre versus Aaron Rodgers is as lopsided as Jessica Alba and Janet Reno in a bikini contest.

I threw up in my mouth a little just thinking of that. :(

If I were GM of a team that went 13-3 and had a QB who threw 28 TD passes, completed 66.5% of his passes for 4155 yards and a 95.7 QB rating; I would be flying the company jet to Mississippi to pick him up personally.

No disrespect to Aaron Rodgers, but who is he that you wouldn't want that QB back? I don't care if he is as old as dirt.

Bottom line, do you want to have a legit shot at the Super Bowl? Brett Favre versus Aaron Rodgers is as lopsided as Jessica Alba and Janet Reno in a bikini contest.
I confused...aren't Favre and Reno the old wrinkled ones?

Well forget Favre...I'm rolling with Jessica Alba.

Burlington native Tony Romo was back home Tuesday morning at his old high school stadium, where the Dallas Cowboys quarterback is holding his football camp.

Of course, Romo was forced to answer questions about Brett Favre.

The Wisconsin native would love to see Favre back but reminds everyone not to give up on Aaron Rodgers, with whom he played golf last weekend in Lake Tahoe and almost led the Packers to a comeback win over Romo last November.

"I think Aaron Rodgers is fine. He's a good quarterback. A bit of an unknown because he hasn't played, but so was I, and so was Brett," Romo said.

"I am torn. I would like to see him go to the AFC and have a great time," Romo laughed.

Hey, Romo, you left out, "playing against me in the 2009 Super Bowl."

This is how I feel about Brad Johnson. He's old as dirt, but he's still got that killer instinct. And as long as he's got the will, he'll be able to compete...

Brad Johnson has a fan, after all . . . .

Bring Brett back! He hasn't thrown enough interceptions yet to cement that record as a 'Never-to-be-broken' one. More interceptions than Blanda! Who'd a thunk it.....

If Aaron Rogers had 2-3 years left on his contract, I think they would gladly welcome Favre back with open arms. But the fact is he has one year left on his contract, and bringing Favre back flushes a former 1st round draft pick, 4 years of development and the future of the franchise down the toilet. They have the youngest team in the league and more cap space than any team in the NFL. They're trying to build a contender for the long term.

Besides, maybe what's not being spoken is that this is a team with a really good defense and a really good running game. Maybe they think they'll be better as playing as an overall team that's solid from top to bottom rather than being the "Brett Favre Show". We saw what the "Brett Favre Show" looked like when he tried to win games all by himself against the Cowboys and in the NFC Championship Game, and it wasn't pretty.
