QBs in playoff losses since 2000 and his own team's defense in those losses

The reason stats aren't everything is explained in that Green bay playoff game. Dak had a pick six and another INT deep in his own half but those points count against the defense. That green bay game skews the stats AGAINST our overall playoff defenses (over 40 points) but our defense overall has played "well enough " to win every game except that GB game. Fir example, Our defense gave Dak a chance to win late in every game and in the playoffs, that's all it comes down to 1 or 2 possessions. Look at josh Allen vs Mahomes. Look at Most playoff games, they are close, and as I said, our defense gave Dak a chance to win or tie every game except the GB game.

Stats matter if you like the player, if not winning matters.....the Jones make it very easy to have irrational discussions about the Cowboys players, because unless things change none are gonna win anything...

Just goes to show what I've been preaching since in this place. GET A FRIGGIN DEFENSE. now the Dak whiners would say we need a quarterback. No way any of you are going to tell me Hurt's is better than Dak on one of Dak's worst days Yet, Hurts is on his way to his 2nd SB in 3 or 4 years. Yea...it's, Dak  WTH up....and soon!! GET ME A FRIGGIN TOUGH DEFENSE!!!!!!!

What the data shows is that Dak is not the only reason the Cowboys lose playoff games. I just wonder if the sample size is enough to draw any solid conclusions.

Dak haters want the problem to be Dak so desperately. Dak loves want the problem to be anything else but Dak. The truth lies somewhere in between.

Let's be honest, the Cowboys defense has not been great for years. I cannot recall the last time we could depend on their defense to get a big stop when they needed it. The last two year, they have been unable to stop the run. We all know it and we all see it, but some people expect Dak to overcome the weaknesses on the other side of the ball. It is unrealistic and kind of stupid really. Last year GB scored on their first 6 or 7 possessions. The defense looked lost and incapable. Dak also played poorly early on. It is easier to blame one guy than to identify the bigger problem on defense.

But what this chart tells me is you need some kind of defense to win in the playoffs. You need a defense to stop the other team when the game is on the line. Dallas does not have that and maybe that is the real reason they do not win in the playoffs? You cannot solve the problem unless you first identify it.
