OKI, what you didn't understand is that he doesn't care about the stats that make Dak look good compared to other QBs....if there wer stats that made Dak look bad against other QBs, then he would care. outside of that, all stats are to be measured in a silo against "expectations" of what those stats need to be in his mind.

See the thing is ........ every time I start getting over the massive failure of an egg that Dak dropped against San Fran. One of you guys (usually with a picture of Dak as an avatar) comes along and posts a thread about how Dak is so great and one of the best in the league.

Then it sets me off again.

I like Dak and have always defended him ....... but its gonna take a while for me to decompress over a game where our Defense came to play and Dak did not.

Please forgive me.

Dak is and will be the only reason this team doesn't reach a SB in the next few years. Hope he proves me wrong.

Now had the defense showed up last year against SF then Dak played good enough to win.

So last year the defense caved and this year the offense caved.

Dak has played on 6 playoff games. 4 he played great, one he played well enough to win and one he played horrible.

FWIW, Dak had 7 3rd down INT. Pat Mahomes had 6.
Being aggressive and going for conversions every down does come with risk.

This kind of stuff is largely a team stat.
As Mina posted today Dak led the league in tight window throws.
